The Holiday Festival of Arts will take place as usual on the Saturday after Thanksgiving, from  10 am to 4 pm @ the Senior Center. Over 25 island artists will be in attendance and there will be music by Martin Lund and the Senior Songbirds.  Santa will make his first appearance of the season. Admission is $1.00 or a donation to the Food Bank.  This is a great way to support the Senior Center and our local artists.  Buy local!

The notorious fighter, lover and outlaw  becomes a hero when he sets off on an adventure with the tough and street smart Kitty Softpaws and the mastermind Humpty Dumpty to save his town. Holiday Pet Photos  from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Orcas Animal Shelter on Hope Lane in Eastsound. Sponsored the shelter and the Orcas Off-Leash Dog Park.Orcas Photographer Damien Stark will be photographing dogs and cats and their owners. Treats and extra props for you and your companion will be provided. Participants will receive a glossy print, free of charge. Donations will be greatly appreciated. Benefiting the Orcas Off-leash area & Orcas Animal Shelter (84 A Hope Lane, Eastsound).  No appointment necessary. Call 376-6777.
