Bobby and Bev of Café Olga like a challenge. I came to truly understand that when I asked for a photo of them and instead got a picture of Yoda taking on the sinister Sith. So, when I threw down the lightsaber (versus a gauntlet in my day) and asked them to be our Celebrity Chefs for the month of March at the school, needless to say they didn’t hesitate to take on the challenge of feeding up to 300 hungry Jedi kids, their Supreme Chancellors and others in the Republic desiring to be fed.
This epic event occurs Wednesday, March 16, when Luke and Princess Leia (Bobby and Bev), along with the Knights of the Kitchen led by Debbie Wan Kanobi, will be preparing a menu of Galactic proportions starting with an out-of-this-world Lasagna (both meat and vegetarian), a fruit medley with mint, made-from-scratch Focaccia Bread, and Cannoli ala Princess Leia for the hungry throng beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the school cafeteria. May the Force be with them.
