Your unwavering support and commitment have been instrumental in making our first Gala & Art Auction possible. Thanks to you, Art for Orcas Kids (A*OK) gathered an impressive group of art lovers, supporters and bidders, and everyone walked away with a unique, one-of-a-kind Stan Moldoff art piece.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Moldoff family and organizers Ayn Gailey, Sara Farish, Michelle Reed, Susan Singleton and Auctioneer Mark Padbury who created an amazing event. The support of incredible Orcas donors helped us raise funds to continue to bring art to the Orcas Island Public Schools. This generosity ensures that art education can continue to thrive empowering young minds to explore, create, and dream. And thank you to the Orcas Island Education Foundation (OIEF) for adding a $10,000 match!
The funds raised ensure that weekly art classes can be offered for another year for Kindergarten through the 8th grade in partnership with the Orcas Island School District and the Orcas Island Education Foundation. This fundraiser makes up 23% of our budget and will help pay for the following program expenses:
