Pizza Dinner at Maple Rock Farm this Sunday to Raise Money for Youth Rowing Program
On Sunday, June 5, starting at 4 p.m., the Orcas Island Rowing Association holds its annual Pizza Dinner to raise money for the youth rowing program. The dinner costs $30 for adults and $15 for kids 12 and under. It includes Maple Rock Farm pizza, beverages, salads, and dessert.
Coached by former Olympic rower Tina Brown, the small but mighty team is recently back from the US Rowing Northwest Youth Championships, where the kids reached the finals in 9 out of the 12 events they entered.
