Notice to all Sunrise Volunteers and community members:
Mr. Eric Webb, Orcas Island School District Superintendent, will explain how the district will meet its responsibilities when the State of Washington fails to fund education despite legislation and court orders to do so.
This is a contentious situation that affects nearly all off us. Senator Ranker is frustrated like the rest of us.
Please join the Sunrise Volunteers at 0700 this Friday morning at the Island Skillet to hear how Mr. Webb will handle this unique situation.
As Usual the Orcas Island Lions Club will host free coffee, and breakfast is on your own.
