The Orcas Island Historical Society’s next Historical Matinee will be this Sunday, August 21 at the Fire Hall starting at 3 p.m. It features well-known local artist Frank Loudin.
He will talk about his art, including his much admired aviation art, some of which can be seen at the Pioneer Museum as part of the “Wings Over Orcas Island – An Aviation History” exhibit.
Frank will bring some of his art to display at the History Matinee and will talk about what inspired him to start painting aviation pictures.
