In recognition of Poetry Month, and to celebrate our treasure trove of Orcas Island poets, Orcas Issues is pleased and honored to offer daily poetry during April.
STUDIO TIME
— by Sharon Ho —
Days dull or bright,
I fly my kite.
In deft hands
my whims take flight.
Clay wedged round,
rise pliant brown,
In a well-lit room,
form is found.
A staging place
for deciding glaze,
for string and beads
and finding grace.
