Wednesday, May 1, 9:50 to 11 a.m. at the Orcas Island Library
A supplemental Meeting will be held in the Public Library’s staff break room tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1. Members of a taskforce of the Orcas Island Library Board of Trustees will meet to discuss developing a needs statement for a possible library building expansion.
This is an open meeting and there will be an opportunity for public comment.

I don’t see a need for expansion. Improvements I would like to see are books checked out for a shorter period of time (i.e., two weeks), calls and fines for books not returned on time, a broader and more current best seller selection.
