Soroptimist International of Friday Harbor is now accepting applications for its 2025 post-secondary educational and vocational skills training program awards.

The $2500 Educational Opportunity Award is for a San Juan County woman who is enrolled in, or accepted into, undergraduate study at an accredited college, university, or vocational skills training program, and who can demonstrate financial need. (On-line study is eligible.)

The $4000 Fellowship Award is for a San Juan County woman established in a profession or business, who is returning to school for postgraduate study at an accredited college or university leading to an advanced degree.

The new $3500 Trades Award is for a San Juan County woman who is enrolled in, or accepted into, an accredited trade skills training program for Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, Marine Maintenance, or Welding. Applicant must demonstrate financial need. (On-line study is eligible.)
