The county has received a number of complaints from citizens who say they have received a lengthy form, purporting to be a County form about shoreline activities, that must be submitted by today, April 30.

According to Senior Planner Colin Maycock, the form is not a county form, it was not distributed by the county and, obviously, there is no need to fill it out.

Maycock notes that today is the final day for citizens to submit comments on the Shoreline Inventory and Characterization report for the Shoreline Master Program (sanjuanco.com/Shoreline_Inventory_and_Characterization_Report_January_2012_Final.pdf) That has been available online since early February. No form is required to offer comments on that.
