A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Trouble Unknown Call.The incident was referred to Compass Health and was documented.

24-006269 Accident-NonInj 20:07:56 09/25/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a non-injury collision. A vehicle was backing out of a parking space, striking another vehicle. The driver was issued multiple warnings.

THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 26
24-006274 Assault – Aggravated 07:55:13 09/26/24
Deputies on Orcas responded to a possible assault. It was called in by a third party. When SJCSO arrived there was no one at the address. All parties were called with no answers or callbacks. Responding units were not able to confirm any information called in.

A San Juan Deputy took a report of a cold domestic incident. Investigation revealed no criminally actionable information; the reporting party was referred to Safe San Juans for assistance. They were asked to call 911 if the other party escalated their behavior.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a local unhoused person who advised they had been assaulted. Video surveillance footage is pending.

24-006311 Accident-Injury, Traffic 11:56:16 09/27/24
An operator of an electric scooter on Lopez was involved in a collision after taking a corner too fast. The operator was flown off island for medical care.

A San Juan Deputy served mutual trespass orders on two parties.

24-006326 Welfare Check 06:23:41 09/28/24
A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a request for a welfare check. The involved party was found to be fine and denied needing assistance.

A Lopez resident called to report the removal lawfully placed no trespassing signs from his property. An investigation is underway, to include video footage.

24-006349 Vagrancy 11:54:30 09/29/24
It was reported a man was in the Spring Street landing bathrooms and looked like he moved in. He was contacted and was found to just be using the bathroom, however, he was previously trespassed from all port properties. He was given a citation with a court date and moved along.

A Lopez resident turned over a found wallet, which was logged into evidence storage.

A Deputy on San Juan Island spoke with an individual who wished to revoke trespass notices against an individual. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a stolen bicycle and stolen headphones. The individual stated the items were taken in separate incidents. A report was completed.

A Deputy on Orcas Island arrested a person with an outstanding warrant.
