Deputies on Orcas responded to a welfare check in Eastsound. The person was found and contacted and was given contact information for the Mobile Crisis Outreach Team (MCOT).

A Deputy responded to a theft call near Moran State Park. The reporting party stated an E-Bike was stolen. There are no suspects at this time. A report was authored.

An Orcas Island Deputy took a found property report. A bag containing personal items, keys and dentures was located and dropped off at the Orcas Island Sheriff’s substation.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check. After arriving Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched for a medical concern and ultimately an individual was Airlifted to a Hospital for further evaluation & care. The incident was documented.

A Lopez Deputy completed a report regarding a person in crisis. The appropriate service providers are already trying to help the person.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a non-injury collision. One of the drivers was issued a notice of infraction for no proof of liability insurance. The Deputy completed a collision report.

Deputies were dispatched to the Friday Harbor area for a reported Theft Shoplifting. Three juveniles were referred to the court system for theft. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took custody of a found bicycle that had been reportedly left in the same place for a week. The bicycle was submitted into evidence as found property. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to the ER at Peace Island Medical Center in Friday Harbor for a report of a dog bite. An individual was bitten on their forearm by a family members large breed dog, causing an injury. The victim believed it to be an accident. A report was completed.

A Lopez resident requested contact about trespassing cyclists who are part of large tour groups.

A report was generated for a mechanical malfunction on one of the patrol boats causing minor damage to the vessel. The boat was docked back in District 1 and will have the repairs completed as soon as possible.

A Lopez Island Deputy was contacted at the Sub-Station for a report of Vandalism. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of property damage that had occurred approximately one month prior. It was reported that a tenant of a condo caused significant damage to fencing, but has been given the opportunity to repair the damages. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island spoke with a controlling authority of a property. A controlling authority of the property wished to have the individual trespassed for one year. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of stolen property. An individual accidentally left a new laptop bag in Friday Harbor and couldn’t find it when they went back for it. Camera footage shows the item being picked up by someone else. A report was completed.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a citizen assist. It was reported that a male was currently going through a mental health situation. The individual did not wish to speak with the Deputy and the Deputy was not informed of any actual plan to harm themselves. A report was completed.
