WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 2
24-006407 Fraud 10:02:17 10/02/24
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a report of fraudulent activity occurring on Blakely Island. The incident is currently under investigation.

24-006409 Welfare Check 10:37:21 10/02/24
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check. The incident was forwarded to Compass Heath’s Designated Crisis Responders and the incident was documented.

24-006416 Court Order Violation 15:16:46 10/02/24
Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Violence Protection Order Violation. An individual was later taken into custody and booked into the county jail. The incident was documented.

24-006418 Threats 15:49:57 10/02/24
A Deputy on Orcas met with a reporting party about a possible threats call. After speaking with the reporting party a report was authored for informational purposes.

24-006423 Animal at Large 18:45:57 10/02/24
Lopez Deputies responded to a report of a hostile goat headbutting people on the soccer field during practice. The soccer players were able to successfully corralled the goat back its property before the Deputies arrived. No goats or soccer players were injured.

24-006427 Found Property 22:28:08 10/02/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a found debit card. The owner was not located and the card was entered into evidence.

24-006428 Disorderly Conduct 22:49:54 10/02/24
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a disorderly conduct call in Eastsound. Once the Deputy arrived, the suspect had already left on foot and was not able to be positively identified to be served a Trespass Warning Letter. Suspect was located the next day and issued the letter.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3
24-006440 DUI 11:28:01 10/03/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Possible DUI in the Lopez Village. It was determined that an individual was experiencing a medical emergency and Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched. The individual was Airlifted to a higher level of care off-island and the incident was documented.

24-006453 Domestic Dispute or Assault 23:29:43 10/03/24
Deputies on Orcas responded to a possible domestic near Deer Harbor. After all parties were contacted and the investigation was completed it was found to be a verbal argument only. A report was authored.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4
24-006468 Trespassing 12:56:57 10/04/24
Deputies were dispatched to a Trespassing in the Friday Harbor area. One person was issued a Trespass Warning Letter. Report taken.

24-006473 DUI 14:47:34 10/04/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a DUI. The suspect was located and arrested on suspicion of DUI, Driving with a Suspended License 3rd degree, Assault 3rd Degree, Resisting Arrest, Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer, and Operating a Motor Vehicle without an Ignition Interlock Device.

24-006476 Accident-HitRun 15:11:57 10/04/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision that occurred at a local business. The suspect vehicle was seen leaving the scene. A report was completed.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5
24-006485 Disorderly Conduct 09:24:47 10/05/24
An Orcas Island Deputy took a report of a subject who caused a disturbance in the Seaview Theater during the screening of a movie. The subject allegedly stood up during the movie and began acting erratically causing several patrons of the theater to leave. The subject left without incident.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 7
24-006525 Civil Problem 10:38:06 10/07/24
An Orcas Island Deputy had contact with a reporting party who had concerns of trespassing by neighbors and construction workers on their property on the 100 block of Day Lake Rd. No crime committed. Civil mater.

24-006526 Accident-NonInj 10:40:56 10/07/24
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an Accident Non-Injury. The incident was documented.

24-006538 Accident-HitRun 19:49:39 10/07/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle had struck a power pole, but caused minimal damage. The vehicle and the driver were gone by the time the officer arrived, but were later located. The incident was documented.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8
24-006554 Trauma ALS 13:43:29 10/08/24
A Deputy on San Juan responded to a vehicle vs pedestrian accident. The victim was transported to the ER for further care. The driver was issued infractions for failure to obey traffic a control device and failing to yield to pedestrian in a crosswalk. Do not turn left onto Argyle Ave from Nichols St!

24-006558 Theft 15:43:27 10/08/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of the theft of a delivered package. A report was completed.
