WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16
24-006710 Boating Problem 09:16:40 10/16/24
A report of a hit and run at the county boat dock on Prevost Harbor on Stuart Island was made. Significant damage was done to the boat by an unknown boat at about 8:15am on Tuesday 15th, 2024. A report was taken and photos submitted.

24-006711 Welfare Check 10:17:28 10/16/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a welfare check, at the Eastsound Village Green Park, located at 203 N. Beach Rd., Eastsound. Contacted a local resident that was offered services which was refused.

24-006713 Citizen Assist 11:15:59 10/16/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a citizen assist report of theft. The theft was investigated and was determined to be unfounded.

24-006721 Parking Problem 17:30:33 10/16/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of a parking problem at the county dock located at, 525 Deer Harbor Rd., Eastsound WA. Unable to locate the registered owners.

24-006727 Animal Noise 21:58:08 10/16/24
A San Juan Deputy took a report of animal noise. The incident was investigated and documented.

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 17
24-006733 CPR ALS 09:41:43 10/17/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a CPR in progress in the Friday Harbor area. The person passed and a report was taken.

24-006745 Sick or Injured Animal 19:17:20 10/17/24
An Orcas Island Deputy euthanized an injured deer near the intersection of Orcas Rd., and Nordstroms Ln.

24-006748 Assault – Body Force 21:05:28 10/17/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of assault on North Beach Rd., Eastsound, WA. A person was arrested for Assault in the 4th degree, Domestic Violence.

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18
24-006752 Burglary – Residential 07:09:54 10/18/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of residential burglary, in the 2000 block of Spring Point Rd., Eastsound, WA. A search was conducted. Unable to locate any one in the area. Additional patrols will be performed in that area.

24-006762 Assault – Body Force 11:34:08 10/18/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of assault, at the Orcas Island Public Library, located at 500 Rose St., Eastsound, WA. The parents of the two parties were notified.

24-006763 Sick or Injured Animal 11:46:26 10/18/24
A Lopez Deputy euthanized an injured deer in Spencer Spit State Park.

24-006767 Found Property 14:47:04 10/18/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of found property. The property was returned to the owner.

24-006773 Fraud 16:32:57 10/18/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of fraud. The reporting party said someone from the Sheriff’s Office called her to collect money. The Sheriff’s Office will never call to collect money.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 19
24-006777 Malicious Mischief 07:55:49 10/19/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a Malicious Mischief in the San Juan Island area. Several political signs around the area had been defaced with white spray paint. Report taken.

24-006781 Overdose 11:43:05 10/19/24
A Deputy was dispatched to an Overdose in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy arrived with San Juan EMS. One juvenile was transported for further treatment. Report taken.

24-006786 Theft 14:00:31 10/19/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of theft of a bicycle. The incident was documented and the bicycle was listed as stolen.

24-006791 Trespassing 15:46:08 10/19/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a report of trespassing, in the 200 block of Cove Rd., Eastsound, WA. A Trespass Warning Letter will be issued.

24-006793 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:23:01 10/19/24
I was dispatched to a vehicle versus building collision at 162 Weeks Road, the Lopez Village Market. Upon my arrival I saw a black Land Rover, parked on the store front sidewalk with its front end partially inside the store.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an unwanted person. The individual was arrested for stalking and was booked into jail.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 20
24-006814 Unconscious ALS 17:33:07 10/20/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a call of an unconscious Person. The person in question was deceased. An investigation was conducted, and no suspicious circumstances were found.

MONDAY, OCTOBER 21
24-006828 Citizen Assist 13:38:54 10/21/24
A Lopez Deputy was contacted by two parties involved in a civil dispute. No law enforcement action is needed or required.

24-006833 Found Property 16:01:45 10/21/24
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a found property. A citizen dropped off a ring at the Sheriff’s Office that they had found. The owner of the ring is unknown. The ring was booked into evidence as found property.

24-006838 Fraud 18:40:21 10/21/24
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a fraud. Personal information was obtained from a scam call and charges were made on the victim’s credit card. Currently there are not suspects.

24-006839 Theft 19:59:58 10/21/24
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a theft of a generator from a sailboat. This case is currently under investigation.

TUESDAY, OCTOBER 22
24-006852 Welfare Check 13:58:14 10/22/24
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a hungry elderly individual. The Deputy brought the individual a few grocery items. A report will be forwarded to APS and mental health services.
