A Deputy was contacted in reference to an Order Violation. The caller reported there is an order against a person and that person was at a business the same time they were. The other person did not

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to Aprils Grove housing complex for a call of an attempted suicide. After contact made, the incident was cleared unfounded.

An Orcas Island Deputy arrested a subject at the intersection of Prune Alley and Main St. for an outstanding theft warrant.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a found wallet. The owner was contacted and the wallet was returned.

A Deputy on Orcas Island took possession of some found keys. The owner was identified and contacted. The keys were returned to the owner.

A Deputy on San Juan Island came upon an abandoned vehicle blocking Egg Lake Rd. The owner was contacted and could not remove the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to the Theft of a Political sign. The person stated they had placed a sign approx 30 minutes earlier and now the sign was missing. No other information at this time. Report taken.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a single vehicle collision. The driver was arrested for DUI drugs and issued an infraction for driving with wheels off roadway.

An Orcas Island reported fraudulent charges on her bank card from a suspect in Seattle. A report was written.

Lopez Deputies, San Juan Fire, and Lopez Fire coordinated the rescue of two juvenile paddle boarders who were pushed away from shore by strong winds.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called to check on a vessel that had mysteriously appeared at a marina. A note on the boat indicated it had been towed in and would be removed within 24 hours. No further action necessary at this time.
21-009238 Burglary – Residential 09:26:57 10/17/21
A San Juan Deputy investigated a report of burglary. No suspect information was available. The incident was documented, and the RP was advised in ways to bolster security.
21-009239 Vehicle Theft 09:51:15 10/17/21
A Deputy was dispatched to a Stolen Vehicle in the Friday Harbor area. The person stated that her vehicle was taken after it was parked in town. A stolen vehicle report was taken. Vehicle was later discovered to have been taken by accident.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to check on a traffic hazard. A vehicle was parked in the road below the crest of a hill. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved to a safer location. No further action was necessary.

San Juan Deputies responded to an in-progress trespass complaint at a residence. The unknown suspect fled prior to Deputies’ arrival. Evidence was gathered and a report was completed.

Deputies responded to a disturbance call at a residence. An investigation determined a resident was having a mental health crisis. The person was offered resources but refused. The person did not represent an imminent risk of harm and was left at the residence. A report was completed.

Deputies responded to a 9-1-1 hang up call. An investigation determined a person was having a narcotic-induced mental health crisis. The person was offered resources but refused. The person did not represent an imminent risk of harm & was left transported to a friend’s house. Report made.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to an assault. A subject was arrested for assault 4th degree and malicious mischief 3rd degree domestic violence and booked into jail.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a disturbance call. The complainant was contacted and no disturbance was found to have taken place. An informational report was written.
