A Deputy was dispatched to the area of Mt Baker Rd and North Beach Rd for a hit and run of a cable box.
17-007232 Theft 15:50:12 10/11/17
An Orcas Deputy took a theft report of an outboard boat motor, gas tank, and hose. There are no suspects at this time.

A Detective responded to the Mullis Senior Center regarding the report of a domestic violence incident which may have occurred at some time in the past.
17-007245 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 09:59:46 10/12/17
An Orcas Island resident reported a suspicious vehicle driving around Mt Entrance Rd. The vehicle was seen twice in the last two days.

Lopez deputies responded to a request from Illinois to locate a fugitive warrant
suspect on the island. The suspect was located and booked into jail.

17-007297 Accident-Injury, Traffic 09:25:25 10/14/17
An Orcas deputy responded to a single vehicle traffic collision off of Crow Valley Road. An investigation was conducted and a report completed.
17-007298 Animal at Large 09:42:16 10/14/17
A Lopez Island deputy was called regarded horses running at large on Center Rd creating a traffic hazard. Upon the deputy’s arrival, no horses were located in the area.
17-007299 Found Property 14:05:11 10/14/17
A Deputy responded to a found property call in Friday Harbor on Spring St. The item was submitted into the property room and a report was taken.
17-007301 Runaway Juvenile 14:39:48 10/14/17
A Deputy responded to a Runaway Juvenile call in Friday Harbor. Information and a clothing description were obtained and a Juvenile Runaway Report filed. No concrete leads were given on the teens possible location. Deputies will continue to watch for the teen.

An Orcas Island Deputy took a report about an ongoing trespassing issue in the Eastsound area. A report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
17-007337 Weapons Offense 17:52:09 10/15/17
Lopez deputies responded to the 3800 block of Mud Bay Road for a report of a person shooting at deer from a moving vehicle. An area check was completed. The vehicle was not located.

17-007347 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 09:11:21 10/16/17
A Lopez Island woman reported a vehicle trespassing on her property. The trespasser told the property owner that she was looking for her missing cat, and left when told to do so by the owner. A report was taken.
17-007358 Theft 18:59:09 10/16/17
A Deputy took a report of a possible theft from outside a storage unit. Case active at this time.

Deputies were dispatched to a dispute on San Juan Island. The dispute was resolved by the deputy and no further enforcement action was taken.

A deputy settled a citizen dispute at a local store in Friday Harbor.
17-007373 Animal at Large 14:44:56 10/17/17
A Lopez Island deputy found cows that had escaped from their pasture. The cows were herded back in and secured. No further action needed.
17-007377 Wanted Person 19:37:15 10/17/17
A wanted person turned themselves into the Orcas Substation and posted bail.
