A Deputy was dispatched to a report fraudulent activity in Friday Harbor. A report was taken.
18-008513 Wanted Person 14:13:07 11/07/18
A wanted person turned themselves in on a warrant at the Orcas Substation in Eastsound. The subject posted the necessary amount of bail and was released with a signed promise to appear in court.
18-008514 Traffic Violation 14:34:18 11/07/18
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a traffic offense in the Eastsound area. The reporting party told dispatch that a vehicle had passed a school bus as it was offloading children. The vehicle and operator information was passed along to the Deputy. The investigation is ongoing.
18-008520 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 17:25:09 11/07/18
Orcas Deputies responded to a suspicious call near the ferry landing. After an investigation was completed the person was arrested for being in physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated.

A Friday Harbor Deputy arrested a wanted person in Friday Harbor. They were processed and placed in a holding cell till their arraignment.

A Deputy drove up on a vehicle collision on Orcas Road. There was a single vehicle left at the collision scene and it was discovered another vehicle had left the scene. The other vehicle has been identified along with the driver. The circumstances surrounding the collision are under investigation.

A Deputy responded to a report of a theft of property out of an unlocked vehicle. This case is currently under investigation.
18-008533 Area Check 12:56:21 11/08/18
A Deputy responded to a parking problem call in Friday Harbor. The owner of the vehicle was issued an infraction for expired vehicle registration over 45 days and a parking ticket for parking too close to a fire hydrant.
18-008539 Accident-Injury, Traffic 13:46:51 11/08/18
A Deputy responded to a vehicle collision on Orcas Island. A single vehicle collided with a power pole. There were no reported injuries from the single occupant. The driver admitted to being distracted. An infraction was issued for no insurance.

A Deputy took a walk in report of a hit and run. The incident was documented.
18-008552 Wanted Person 22:08:14 11/08/18
A Deputy contacted a Wanted Person in Friday Harbor and was placed in custody for the Warrant.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a suspicious call at a local Eastsound business. The reporting party wanted to report multiple crimes. Upon further investigation all claims were determined to be unfounded. A report was taken.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to an Unwanted Person in the San Juan Island area. An informational report was taken.

A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to investigate a 911 hang up call. Upon contact with the caller, it was determined there was no emergency and the call was dialed accidentally.

A Deputy responded to a report of a hit and run. The suspect was located and issued a criminal citation for hit and run attended and an infraction for following too close.
18-008595 Found Property 16:41:17 11/11/18
A US passport was found in the village. A local business owner assisted in locating the passport holder.

Deputies responded to an Eastsound residence on a reported domestic dispute. Further investigation revealed no crimes had been committed and the female half wished to leave. Arrangements were made for her to leave the scene safely. No further action was required.

Deputies were dispatched to a Verbal Domestic in Friday Harbor. It was found to be only verbal and both parties agreed to calm down for the rest of the evening.
