24-007559 Abandoned Vehicle 11:54:17 11/27/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was impounded, and the incident was documented.

24-007572 Overdose 19:04:46 11/27/24
A Lopez Deputy and Lopez EMS responded to a report of an individual who overdosed while riding the ferry. The individual was unloaded off the ferry onto Lopez and EMS administered care. Once stabilized, the patient refused further treatment and was released.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 28
24-007592 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:57:39 11/28/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a cold domestic incident. Investigation revealed the incident occurred outside of San Juan County. The victim was in a safe place and was assisted in formulating a plan for the coming days. They were also in contact with Safe San Juans.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 29
24-007600 Accident-Injury, Traffic 11:09:53 11/29/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a call of a reckless driver in the area of McNallie Ln and Orcas Rd. the vehicle involved was later involved in a solo vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI, no ignition interlock device and driving on a suspended license and booked.

24-007605 Malicious Mischief 16:12:43 11/29/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of vandalism. The incident was investigated and no suspect information was available.

24-007606 Welfare Check 16:22:27 11/29/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a welfare check. Deputies forced entry into the residence and located the individual deceased.The death appeared to have been from natural causes.

24-007609 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:55:25 11/29/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. After investigation, it was determined that no crime had been committed. One of the involved agreed to leave the residence.

24-007615 Found Property 23:03:34 11/29/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island received some found property. The Deputy was not able to identify the owner. The property was booked into the evidence room.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 29
24-007619 Trespassing 10:08:00 11/30/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a local business about a Trespassing. The business was contacted and reported a person previously trespassed from the business had been caught on security camera in the business. Report taken.

24-007622 Accident-NonInj 13:33:47 11/30/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a Traffic Accident in Friday Harbor. One driver was issued an infraction for Operating a Motor Vehicle without Insurance. Report taken.

24-007628 Accident-HitRun 16:32:20 11/30/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island took a hit-and-run report.

24-007631 DUI 18:19:52 11/30/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a DUI and assault. An individual was arrested for DUI, Driving without an ignition interlock device, and DWLS 3rd degree.

SUNDAY, DECEMBER 1
24-007640 Unwanted Person 12:23:05 12/01/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a business in the Friday Harbor area. The business was requesting a person be trespassed from the business. A Trespass Warning Letter was prepared and signed by the business. The person was served with the letter. Report taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to a business in the Friday Harbor area. The business was requesting a person be Trespassed from the business. A Trespass Warning Letter was prepared and signed by the business. The person was served with the letter. Report taken.

24-007649 DUI 18:09:21 12/01/24
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a disabled vehicle blocking traffic on the road. The driver was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 2
24-007667 Malicious Mischief 15:51:52 12/02/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Vandalism and the investigation is ongoing. The incident was documented.

24-007668 Found Property 16:09:03 12/02/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island took custody of a wallet that was found in Friday Harbor. The owner was notified, however they did not pick up their property. The wallet was submitted into evidence as found property.

24-007672 Domestic Dispute or Assault 16:37:46 12/02/24
Deputies on San Juan responded to a domestic incident in Friday Harbor. The incident on 12/2/24 was verbal in nature, however it was learned that the night prior there was a physical altercation and one person sustained injuries. A female was taken into custody for Assault in the 4th degree- DV.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 3
24-007679 Parking Problem 07:52:32 12/03/24
A vehicle was issued an infraction for a parking violation and posted for tow removal.

24-007683 Malicious Mischief 10:44:40 12/03/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a vandalism complaint. A report was authored. The investigation is ongoing.

24-007690 Fraud 13:35:35 12/03/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a fraud call, the investigation is ongoing, and the incident was documented.

24-007692 Malicious Mischief 13:51:56 12/03/24
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a report of vandalism in the Deer Harbor area. Pictures were taken of the damages and the incident was documented. “The Flats” was found spray painted on the wall. If you have any information, please contact the Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies on San Juan responded to a report of a domestic incident where windows were being broken. One individual was arrested and booked into the San Juan County Jail for Residential burglary – attempted, Violation of protection order – DV, Malicious mischief in the 2nd degree, Felony Harassment

24-007703 DUI 18:33:13 12/03/24
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of an intoxicated driver in Friday Harbor. Deputies located the individual, whom was positively identified by witnesses. The driver was taken into custody and booked into the San Juan County Jail for driving under the influence.

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 4
24-007705 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 00:06:20 12/04/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of stalking behavior. The reporting party just wanted the information to be documented for the time being and would consider petitioning for a no-contact order through the courts. A report was completed.
