An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a vandalism call in the Olga area. An info report was taken.
19-009689 Vicious Animal 12:26:42 11/20/19
A Deputy responded to a request for a welfare check on rabbits and chickens at a property in Friday Harbor. The Deputy took photos of the rabbits and chickens, observed no law violations, and completed a report. No further investigation required at this time.
19-009696 Wanted Person 15:56:36 11/20/19
A Deputy responded to an Eastsound residence known to be the home to a subject who had a local warrant for their arrest. The subject was located, arrested and booked into Jail. Evidence of possible stolen items were located.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a local business on a report of an employee stealing money. The employee is believed to have left the county after the incident. The investigation is ongoing.

A Deputy on San Juan took a report of identity theft. The incident was documented.
19-009716 Animal at Large 14:07:26 11/21/19
A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of an Animal at Large. The Deputy issued the owner a Dog at Large warning letter.
19-009719 Assault – Aggravated 15:56:07 11/21/19
A Deputy met with a Lopez Island resident on regarding a physical assault complaint. The reporting person/victim had to depart for the mainland for an Emergency Room visit prior to an investigation. The matter is pending investigation.

19-009732 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 08:12:40 11/22/19
A Deputy received a complaint from a Lopez resident on that his neighbor was harassing him by taking videos of him while he was outside his home over the past several months. There was no evidence of a crime and a report was completed.
19-009735 Welfare Check 10:30:51 11/22/19
A Deputy received a request for a welfare check of a Lopez Island resident. It was determined a physical assault had occurred. The victim had to depart to visit a hospital ER prior to it being fully investigated. The case has been assigned for a complete criminal investigation.
19-009736 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 11:32:08 11/22/19
A Lopez Island Deputy investigated a threats complaint at the Lopez School. The reporting student stated they heard second hand that another student wanted to kill them. The investigation revealed no evidence of a crime or an imminent threat to students or school staff. A report was completed.

A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of Trespassing. The owner signed a Trespass Letter that was served.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called regarding a vehicle that had intentionally driven out into a freshly plowed farm field and “cut cookies” leaving deep ruts. A report was taken.

A Deputy on San Juan took a report of a runaway juvenile. A pick up notice was signed.

19-009801 Traffic Hazard 14:09:08 11/24/19
Deputies on Orcas Island assisted a local towing service by providing traffic control during a vehicle recovery.
19-009807 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:05:05 11/24/19
Orcas Deputies responded to a possible domestic near Eastsound. After an investigation, it was determined that the only argument occurred between two males and was a civil matter.
19-009813 Communications Problem 08:07:33 11/25/19
A Deputy responded to a walk in complaint of a Communications problem concerning a voicemail the reporting party received on her phone. The Deputy noted there was no criminal law violation but the incident was documented in an informational report.
19-009821 Accident-NonInj 12:55:41 11/25/19
A Lopez Island Deputy investigated a two vehicle non injury collision at Aleck Bay Rd and Wren Rd. One driver was ticketed for making a prohibited right turn. Both cars were driven from the scene. A collision report was completed.
19-009828 DUI 16:55:45 11/25/19
A Deputy responded to a report of an erratic driver. Contact was made with the driver in Eastsound, where it was later determined the driver had been driving under the influence. The driver was arrested, processed and released with a promise to appear in court.
19-009834 Welfare Check 18:08:40 11/25/19
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a request to check the welfare of a woman acting strangely. The woman was contacted. It was determined no further assistance was required. The woman was given a courtesy ride home.
19-009838 Noise Complaint /not dogs 20:45:41 11/25/19
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a noise complaint involving a loud generator. An occupant of the residence was contacted and given a verbal warning for violation of the San Juan County noise ordinance.
19-009853 Malicious Mischief 16:01:44 11/26/19
A Deputy was dispatched a report of Malicious Mischief in Friday Harbor. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.
19-009859 Sick or Injured Animal 17:56:57 11/26/19
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of a wounded deer. The Deputy checked the area, but was unable to locate the deer.
19-009861 Mental Health 20:16:11 11/26/19
A Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check in Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived and made contact with the person. Report taken.
19-009862 Traffic Hazard 20:32:53 11/26/19
A Deputy on Orcas Island discovered a fallen tree partially blocking Crow Valley Road. The Deputy was able to clear the hazard.
