22-008005 Harassment 05:56:49 11/02/22
A Deputy responded to a report of Harassment in Friday Harbor. Two businesses requested a person trespassed from their businesses. There was no probable cause for the crime of harassment and the person was issued trespass letters for the businesses. Report made.

22-008020 Controlled Substance Problem 22:01:42 11/02/22
It was observed that an inmate shared their medication with a fellow inmate. Charges were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office for two counts of delivery of controlled substance.

22-008021 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 23:28:34 11/02/22
A San Juan Deputy observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road with litter outside of it. The occupant of the vehicle was issued an infraction for littering less than 1 cubic foot.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 3
22-008022 Mental Health 07:57:47 11/03/22
Deputies on Orcas responded to a possible mental crisis. Information and resources were given to all parties. A report was taken.

22-008023 Accident-NonInj 08:03:05 11/03/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a single vehicle collision in which a driver struck a deer. The occupants of the vehicle were uninjured and the deer fled the area. The collision was determined to be non-reportable.

22-008025 Malicious Mischief 09:34:50 11/03/22
A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a vandalism call at The Village Green bathrooms. Photographs were taken and a report written. No suspects at this time.

22-008033 Burglary – Residential 14:43:07 11/03/22
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an attempted residential burglary. A person attempted to enter a residence, then fled the area when the homeowner’s dogs began barking at them. No entry was made to the residence, and nothing was taken or damaged.

22-008037 Theft 16:07:51 11/03/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a stolen Stihl MS180C chainsaw. There are no workable leads and the incident was documented.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 4
22-008050 Agency Assistance 11:13:27 11/04/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to an agency assist request from Safe San Juans. The victim was interviewed, and a report was generated. The investigation is ongoing.

22-008051 Harassment 11:26:02 11/04/22
An Orcas Deputy responded to a report of harassment. An investigation was conducted and a report completed.

22-008053 Theft 16:26:07 11/04/22
A Lopez Deputy responded to a theft call. A Lopez citizen reported that political signs had been stolen off the roadside. The incident was documented.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 5
22-008066 Accident-HitRun 10:43:37 11/05/22
A Lopez resident reported damage to a mailbox post. Evidence was collected from the scene.

22-008072 Suicide, Actual 12:18:41 11/05/22
A Lopez Deputy investigated a suicide in which the victim hung himself.

22-008073 Theft 12:30:20 11/05/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of stolen dogs. The theft and victim live in Thurston County and the information was provided to the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office for follow up.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6
22-008090 Mental Health 15:03:21 11/06/22
A Deputy was dispatched to a Mental Health Issue in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy arrived and contacted the person. The person was in crisis and requested assistance. The person was taken where they could receive assistance. Report taken.

22-008092 Theft 16:23:57 11/06/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a former caregiver of a family member that been stealing from the person they were caring for. Information is still being collected and further investigation is needed.

22-008095 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:54:02 11/06/22
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. One person was arrested for assault in the fourth degree, domestic violence.

22-008096 Malicious Mischief 19:13:32 11/06/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of vandalism, it was reported that a vehicle had a puncture hole in it. The reporting party did not wish to pursue criminal charges against anyone. they just wanted the Sheriff’s Office to be aware of what happened.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7
22-008098 Welfare Check 00:54:32 11/07/22
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a possible suicidal individual with access to firearms. The individual was located and contacted. They wanted to talk with someone eventually and did not have a current plan to harm themself. An informational report was completed.

22-008102 Vehicle Prowl 08:44:03 11/07/22
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s Office about a Vehicle Prowl. The person reported that their vehicle had been entered over the previous week. Only thing taken was a spare key to a residence. Report taken.

22-008113 Court Order Violation 14:15:57 11/07/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a violation of a protection order. Probable cause was established for violation of an anti-harassment order and the case was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.

22-008118 Accident-NonInj 16:14:34 11/07/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to an accident with no injury near Eastsound. Both parties had exchanged information when the Deputy arrived and a report was taken.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 8
SS22-008125 Disorderly Conduct 06:04:19 11/08/22
Deputies on Orcas responded to the ferry landing for a disorderly conduct call. After the investigation was completed there was no crime. A report was taken.

22-008133 Theft 13:08:23 11/08/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of theft from the Port of Friday Harbor. The property was recovered and the individual responsible was located. The Port wished to trespass the individual from all Port properties. The individual was located and served with the trespass letter.
