WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 13
24-007315 Theft 09:59:08 11/13/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a theft call at the Orcas Ferry Landing. A reporting party had a GoPro camera stolen from the county public dock. A suspect has been identified and the investigation is ongoing.

24-007317 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 10:42:58 11/13/24
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a resident attempting to drive a vehicle without a valid driver’s license. The individual was in a parking lot of a local business. Deputies provided the individual a courtesy ride home and explained not to drive until the license was reissued.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 14
24-007329 Domestic Dispute or Assault 00:03:56 11/14/24
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. No crime of domestic violence had been committed. One of the involved was issued a verbal warning for violation of the San Juan County noise ordinance. One of the involved agreed to leave the residence for the night.

24-007330 Domestic Dispute or Assault 03:17:04 11/14/24
Deputies on Orcas Island returned to the scene of a domestic dispute. The once separated parties had gotten back together and resumed arguing. One of the involved was issued a notice of infraction for violation of the San Juan County noise ordinance.

24-007335 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 10:28:42 11/14/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of property damage. This case is still under investigation.

24-007340 Theft 12:16:22 11/14/24
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a reported mail theft. The incident was documented.

24-007342 Court Order Violation 13:22:01 11/14/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an allegation of a court order violation. An investigation was conducted, and a report was sent to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for review.

24-007350 Trespassing 20:50:22 11/14/24
A San Juan Deputy observed someone trespassing on a property they were not allowed to be on. The individual was issued a citation for criminal trespass in the second degree.

24-007352 Traffic Violation 21:26:34 11/14/24
A San Juan Deputy stopped a vehicle for crossing the center line and nearly striking another vehicle. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into jail.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15
24-007360 DUI 12:40:47 11/15/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a possible DUI driver. The driver was contacted and testing showed that the person was not DUI.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16
24-007381 Accident-HitRun 17:24:01 11/16/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a call of a non-injury, motor vehicle collision, in the parking lot of a local business. None of the involved parties required Emergency Medical Services. The incident was documented.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17
24-007387 Wanted Person 14:22:31 11/17/24
An Orcas Island Deputy apprehended a wanted fugitive. The individual was taken into custody without incident. Additional criminal charges are pending.

24-007390 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:23:32 11/17/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a roll over vehicle collision. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital. This case is still under investigation.

24-007393 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:09:25 11/17/24
A domestic was reported to the Sheriff’s Office. The incident was investigated and a juvenile was arrested, but was later released.

MONDAY, NOVEMBER 18
24-007396 Accident-NonInj 04:59:07 11/18/24
A Lopez Deputy responded to an accident non-injury on Airport Road. A vehicle was discovered in the early morning to have rolled onto its side and was abandoned. The driver was nowhere to be found. The matter is under investigation.

24-007402 Mental Health 16:01:19 11/18/24
A Lopez Deputy and Lopez EMS performed a court ordered mental health patient pick up.

24-007408 Weapon Safekeeping 20:09:17 11/18/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a safekeeping. The Deputy took the item and booked it into evidence for safekeeping.

TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 19
24-007414 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 13:44:52 11/19/24
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a suspicious person at a local park. The individual was soliciting park guests to go with the individual to have fun. Deputies were provided a description of the vehicle and individual. An investigation is in progress.

24-007420 Accident-Injury, Traffic 22:28:48 11/19/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of an injury collision. The person was transported by SJ EMS and a WA State Collision Report was completed.

24-007422 County Property Damage 23:51:38 11/19/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island had a deer run into their patrol vehicle. This report is for information only.
