21-009844 Controlled Substance Problem 15:33:02 11/10/21
San Juan Deputies executed a search warrant on a vehicle impounded the day prior for a narcotics investigation. During the search of the vehicle, the Deputies located methamphetamine.

21-009848 Welfare Check 21:50:16 11/10/21
Deputies on San Juan Island were dispatched to a report of an unconscious citizen. After assessing the scene, narcan was administered and the citizen came to and was transported to the hospital by SJI EMS.

21-009849 Trespassing 22:00:14 11/10/21
A Deputy on San Juan Island was dispatched to a report of trespassing. The subject was contacted and issued a notice of trespass for a local business.

THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11
21-009853 Communications Problem 10:46:18 11/11/21
An Orcas Island Deputy investigated a possible extortion case involving an Instagram account. The criminal investigation is ongoing.

21-009856 Threats 11:48:14 11/11/21 
An Orcas Island Deputy authored an incident report regarding a verbal dispute between a homeowner and a person hired by the homeowner to do yard work. It was determined no crime was committed.

21-009857 Citizen Assist 12:00:39 11/11/21
An Orcas Island Deputy authored an incident report regarding unwanted/harassing mail received by an Orcas Island resident. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined no crime was committed.

21-009862 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 15:50:58 11/11/21
A Lopez Deputy was called about an abandoned suitcase on a hiking path. Baggage check tickets identified the owner as a transient person from California.

21-009867 Wanted Person 18:55:30 11/11/21
Deputies on Orcas located and arrested a suspect with a local warrant. The suspects family posted bail and they were released with a promise to appear date.

21-009873 Wanted Person 21:34:51 11/11/21
A San Juan Deputy observed a subject with an arrest warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into the San Juan County jail.

21-009875 Boating Problem 22:15:52 11/11/21
A Deputy spoke with a Lopez Island resident regarding a suspicious vessel in Swift Bay during the hours of darkness on 10/11/2021. The vessel was described to have very strong blinding lights and the crew appeared to be crabbing. The information was provided to the Coast Guard.

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 12
21-009877 Accident-NonInj 04:32:36 11/12/21
Lopez Island Deputies responded to a drunk driver involved in a vehicle accident complaint. The driver, who left the scene, was subsequently identified. There was no evidence of a vehicle accident. The investigation revealed insufficient evidence a crime was committed.

21-009881 Pornography 09:19:13 11/12/21
A San Juan Deputy took a report that a user on a public meeting displayed child pornography and other offensive material. The incident was forwarded to Detectives for further investigation.

21-009890 Accident-NonInj 12:20:43 11/12/21
San Juan Deputies responded to a multi-vehicle, non-injury, reportable motor vehicle collision outside of Friday Harbor. A collision report was generated.

21-009903 Lost Property 19:13:57 11/12/21
A Lopez Island Deputy received a request for assistance regarding a lost item on
10/12/2021. An attempt to locate the item was made. A report was completed.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 13
21-009910 Malicious Mischief 08:01:29 11/13/21
A Deputy responded to report of the department’s speed registering radar trailer was vandalized. It was discovered someone had flipped it over on its end. Damage occurred. Investigation continues.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14
21-009931 Welfare Check 11:28:43 11/14/21
An Orcas Island Deputy conducted a welfare check on a subject on the 1400 block of Rosario Rd. The subject was alive and well.

21-009934 Court Order Violation 12:37:58 11/14/21
A Lopez Island Deputy was called about an unwelcome series of late night/ early morning phone calls received by a local resident. The caller was identified and contacted by the Deputy. A report was completed.
