25-003171 Assault – Body Force 08:44:08 05/29/25
A Deputy on Orcas took a report of an assault. A report was taken.
25-003201 DUI 18:46:21 05/29/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a drunk driver. Witnesses were attempting to keep the driver on scene, but he fled into a wooded area on foot prior to Deputy arrival. Deputies searched for the suspect for two hours but did not locate them.
FRIDAY, MAY 30
25-003216 Vicious Animal 15:25:47 05/30/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to an animal problem call. An individual reported a dog bite that occurred over a week prior to the time it was reported. The incident is under investigation.
SATURDAY, MAY 31
25-003227 Accident-Injury, Traffic 00:09:00 05/31/25
An Orcas Island Deputy along with Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle collision. The driver was evaluated by EMS for injuries and released. The Deputy investigated the collision, and the driver was subsequently arrested for DUI and later booked into the San Juan County jail.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft complaint. An investigation commenced and is ongoing.
25-003239 Accident-NonInj 16:02:38 05/31/25
An Orcas Island Deputy investigated a vehicle accident on MainSt. It was determined that the concerned party did not incur any damage to their vehicle. The suspected driver that was presumed to have hit the other car was a wanted fugitive. The fugitive was placed into custody.
25-003242 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 18:36:39 05/31/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious. An apparent human skull was located on a local beach and was entered into evidence to be examined.
25-003243 Citizen Assist 19:25:17 05/31/25
An Orcas Island Deputy authored a report for a citizen assist call. The citizen was a suspect in a theft case who became aware that they were a suspect and wanted to call the Sheriff’s Office to explain their side of the story. The incident was documented and forwarded to the Deputy in charge.
25-003247 Noise Complaint /not dogs 22:41:49 05/31/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a noise complaint. The Deputy investigated the claim and could hear the loud noise coming from the residence; the homeowner was warned of the county noise ordinance.
SUNDAY, JUNE 1
25-003248 Accident-NonInj 00:01:13 06/01/25
An Orcas Island Deputy along with Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle collision near Olga. The driver and passenger were evaluated by EMS for injuries and released. The Deputy investigated the collision and the incident was documented.
25-003250 Noise Complaint /not dogs 01:39:59 06/01/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a noise complaint. The Deputy investigated the claim and patrolled the area; the complaint was unfounded. The Deputy cleared from the area and will follow-up during the daytime.

A Lopez man stole cigarettes from a grocery store. The man was permanently trespassed from the store.
25-003265 Found Property 17:04:43 06/01/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island took custody of a found wallet. The owner was not local to the state and was not able to be contacted. The wallet was submitted into evidence as found property.
25-003267 Unwanted Person 17:33:31 06/01/25
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to an unwanted person call. The involved parties were contacted, and it was determined to be a civil issue. The officer worked with the individuals to come to a solution for the issue. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a non reportable non-injury accident in a parking lot. An exchange of information was completed after one driver left the scene.
25-003276 Unwanted Person 20:07:45 06/01/25
Lopez Island Deputies were dispatched to an unwanted person call. The individual was arrested for a domestic related crime and transported to the San Juan County Jail. The incident was documented.
MONDAY, JUNE 2
25-003279 Trespassing 08:45:38 06/02/25
A subject was seen on a Ring Doorbell security camera located on Egg Lake Road. The individual has a valid trespass order signed by the property owner, which was served on 05/05/2024 for an indefinite period.
25-003282 Malicious Mischief 09:54:23 06/02/25
The Sheriff’s Office took a report of vandalism. A county no parking sign had been removed. Multiple vehicles were issued parking infractions and tagged for 72 hour tow notice if the owners do not remove their vehicles.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft complaint. An investigation commenced and is ongoing.
25-003301 Animal at Large 18:26:53 06/02/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a dog at large. It was reported that a dog got out and then chased cats. When the Deputy arrived, the dog was back home. The owner admitted the dog was out on accident. The owner was issued a dog at large warning letter. A report was completed.

An Orcas Island Deputy assisted a citizen with a civil matter. No crime was committed.
25-003317 Trespassing 15:04:10 06/03/25
A Deputy received a trespassing complaint. The complainant signed trespass warning letters.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a single vehicle collision. The Deputy authored a collision report.
