A citizen called about a possible order violation that occurred about forty five minutes earlier in Eastsound. A report was taken.
17-002875 Theft 11:33:50 05/24/17
An Eastsound resident called about a theft that occurred at a home. An information report was taken without further investigation at her request.
17-002881 Harassment 14:17:26 05/24/17
A Lopez Island deputy was called to mediate and on going dispute between neighbors. No action was taken.
17-002882 Accident-Injury, Traffic 15:34:26 05/24/17
Deputies responded to a two vehicle collision on Orcas Road. After completion of the investigation, one of the drivers was arrested for DUI.
17-002885 Found Property 18:53:37 05/24/17
A Lopez Island deputy picked up two children’s bicycles that had been abandoned at Agate Beach County Park since late April.
17-002886 Harassment 21:41:18 05/24/17
Deputies were tasked to investigate a report of witness intimidation stemming from a San Juan County Superior Court case which is proceeding thru the court system.
17-002888 Domestic Dispute or Assault 22:35:47 05/24/17
Deputies made contact with a San Juan island resident who was having a dispute with her husband. The husband fled the scene prior to contact.

An investigation was conducted regarding theft on Orcas Island. The suspect was identified and yet to be located. The investigation continues.
17-002903 Theft 12:54:40 05/25/17
A Deputy was dispatched to an Eastsound hotel in regards to a theft of money possibly by an employee who did not return to work. A report was taken but the reporting person declined any further investigation.
17-002906 Fish & Game Violation 14:46:49 05/25/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a report of a dead rabbit hanging from a vehicle. A report was taken.
17-002910 Accident-HitRun 15:47:05 05/25/17
A Lopez deputy received a report of a hit and run collision which occurred in a parking lot. A report was taken.

17-002920 Malicious Mischief 07:57:16 05/26/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched for a reported vandalism. No witnesses, and a report was taken.
17-002921 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 08:54:04 05/26/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a report of suspicious vehicles leaving a driveway. Vehicles were gone on arrival.
17-002924 Accident-HitRun 11:15:13 05/26/17
An Orcas resident met a Deputy at the Orcas Sub-Station in regards to a possible hit and run accident that may have occurred in a parking lot. A report was taken.
17-002933 Traffic Hazard 15:35:21 05/26/17
A moped driver reported harassment by a driver and had the license plate. I took his statement and contacted the car driver. He said he tried to advise the moped driver to stay on the edge of the road for safety and had obscenities yelled at him. Both parties were advised on right of way rules.

A deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Accident in the San Juan Island area. The reporting deputy arrived but the involved vehicle had left the area. Investigation continues…
17-002938 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:03:23 05/26/17
Deputies made contact with an 11-year-old and her mother reference a vehicle slowly driving thru their neighborhood and screaming obscenities at children.
17-002943 Domestic Dispute or Assault 21:37:56 05/26/17
Lopez Deputies responded to a Lopez Island residence for a possible domestic
violence incident. The involved persons, who had been arguing, stated there was no physical assault during the argument. There was no evidence of a crime. The parties separated for the evening and a report was completed.
17-002944 Wanted Person 22:01:42 05/26/17
Deputies received a male subject who turned himself in pursuant to outstanding warrants.

17-002949 Citizen Dispute 08:52:52 05/27/17
A San Juan property owner called to report a neighbor/ property line dispute. Deputies went to the scene and advised both parties to take no further action until the property line survey was completed on 05-30-17.
17-002957 Civil Problem 13:55:23 05/27/17
A San Juan property owner called again to report a neighbor/property line dispute. Deputies went to the scene and again advised both parties to take no further action until the court ordered property line survey was completed.
17-002964 Threats 15:48:08 05/27/17
An Orcas Island deputy was dispatched to a threats call in the Eastsound area. The deputy contacted the reporting party and took a report.
17-002965 DUI 16:00:20 05/27/17
A deputy was dispatched to a DUI in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the driver. The incident was unfounded.
17-002968 Citizen Assist 16:52:14 05/27/17
A deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Assist in the Friday Harbor area. A local business was have difficultly with an employee. Informational report taken.
17-002971 Unwanted Person 19:38:50 05/27/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched for an unwanted person at a residence. The subject was contacted and served a trespass warning letter. The subject left without incident.
17-002976 Theft 21:43:35 05/27/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a theft and vandalism case involving a subject who had been previously removed from a property. Involved persons handled the issue civilly.

17-002985 Assault – Aggravated 00:31:00 05/28/17
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a fight that ended with the victim having his tire cut on his vehicle. Currently there are no suspects in this case.
17-002986 Domestic Dispute or Assault 01:13:25 05/28/17
A female came to the Sheriff’s Office requesting security so she could board the ferry and leave her boyfriend.
17-002987 Unwanted Person 01:33:47 05/28/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched for a report of an intoxicated subject yelling threats behind a local business. The deputy located the subject having an animated conversation with his television. The subject agreed to quiet down and close the door to his room.
17-002988 Citizen Dispute 02:23:03 05/28/17
A Lopez deputy was dispatched for a dispute between people at a holiday party. Subjects were separated for the remainder of the night.
17-003004 Theft 17:53:01 05/28/17
An Orcas Island deputy was dispatched to a theft call in the Eastsound area. A local woman had fuel siphoned from her car while it was parked in her driveway. A report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
17-003005 Citizen Dispute 18:39:14 05/28/17
A deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Dispute in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting deputy contacted the caller. The caller advised there was a problem with an ex-roommate. Information report taken.
17-003010 Unwanted Person 23:20:26 05/28/17
Lopez deputies were dispatched for a possible intruder. Deputies cleared the residence and found no evidence of any unlawful entry.

17-003015 Unwanted Person 03:26:58 05/29/17
A deputy was dispatched to the Friday Harbor area on an Unwanted Person. The reporting deputy arrived and was able to have both involved parties come to an agreement. No enforcement action needed.
17-003033 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:14:10 05/29/17
A deputy was dispatched to the San Juan Island area on a Domestic. Passerby reported seeing a couple arguing in the roadway. The reporting deputy arrived in the area and located the involved parties at a nearby residence. Investigation continues.
17-003044 Domestic Dispute or Assault 22:54:32 05/29/17
Deputies in Friday Harbor received a report of a domestic. One of the involved parties was arrested for assault 4th degree Domestic Violence and was booked into the jail.

17-003053 Trespassing 10:32:34 05/30/17
A Deputy spoke with a Lopez Island resident regarding a criminal trespass complaint. The incident involved the possible entry of a home on Lopez, without permission. There was no evidence of forced entry to the home or theft. There was evidence of entry, according to a maid. A report was taken.
