24-002523 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 15:31:34 05/01/24
A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of suspicious activity. The reporting party advised that they received unwanted correspondence from a person, who was not identified. The incident was documented.
24-002532 Noise Complaint /not dogs 20:41:23 05/01/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a noise violation. One individual was eventually arrested and booked for disorderly conduct and was issued an infraction for a Town of Friday Harbor noise violation.
THURSDAY, MAY 2
24-002538 Malicious Mischief 11:47:24 05/02/24
A Deputy noticed a Malicious Mischief during routine patrol in the San Juan Island area. Several concrete blocks had been painted with political statements. Report taken.
24-002546 Theft 19:39:51 05/02/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a theft. Other items were stolen on 05/03/2024 and the theft was on video. The suspects were identified and Deputies located them a short time later, arresting them for theft 3rd degree (x2).

24-002555 Citizen Assist 14:05:32 05/03/24
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist call at the station. An informational report was taken.
24-002556 Animal at Large 14:25:26 05/03/24
A Deputy responded to a local school district regarding a menacing dog at large around the children. The dog was identified and the owners were contacted. A dog at large warning letter was issued.
24-002561 Citizen Dispute 15:51:47 05/03/24
Lopez Deputies responded when an irate citizen trespassed to confront a property owner about a flag that the owner was displaying from their property. The trespasser left without further incident and was provided several warnings regarding their behavior.

24-002587 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:50:05 05/04/24
Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance on Orcas Island. After investigation into the incident, it was determined that it did not appear as though any crimes were committed. Resources were provided and a report was taken.
SUNDAY, MAY 5
24-002597 Trespassing 14:34:03 05/05/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a Trespassing in the San Juan Island area. The person calling the Sheriff’s Office was reporting an ongoing problem with a neighbor. The neighbor was issued a Trespass Warning Letter. Report taken.
MONDAY, MAY 6
24-002618 DUI 20:17:34 05/06/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island contacted a driver regarding a concerned citizen’s report. The driver was subsequently arrested for suspicion of driving or being in physical control of a motor vehicle while under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs.

24-002629 Mental Health 10:07:09 05/07/24
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a trouble unknown as dispatch received a 9-1-1 hang up near Eastsound. After an investigation was completed it was found that it was a civil matter between two partners. A report was taken.

A Deputy and Lopez Fire responded to a burn investigation. An informational report was completed due to ongoing behavioral health issues with the involved person.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Welfare Check at a residence. The individual was contacted, and a report was taken.
