22-001482 Pornography 13:38:48 03/09/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a local daycare about their Facebook page being hacked. A report was taken and the case is ongoing.

22-001486 Accident-Injury, Traffic 18:51:54 03/09/22
A Lopez Deputy responded to an Accident with Injury call. A deer jumped in front of a Lopezian Moped driver, who struck the deer and crashed their vehicle. The driver sustained injuries and was airlifted to a hospital.

22-001487 Assault – Aggravated 19:27:29 03/09/22
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an Aggravated Assault in Friday Harbor. Investigation revealed that the suspect injured two people while stealing their property. The suspect was located and arrested for two counts of Robbery 1st degree and Minor Intoxicated in Public.

THURSDAY, MARCH 10
22-001494 Accident-Injury, Traffic 10:01:03 03/10/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a single vehicle collision. The driver was issued multiple infractions for no insurance, no registration in vehicle, driving with wheels off roadway and defective equipment.

FRIDAY, MARCH 11
22-001512 Citizen Dispute 10:39:30 03/11/22
At the request of WSP and WSF security, a Lopez resident was issued a 60-day trespass notice as a result of his continued disruptive behavior at the Lopez terminal.

22-001517 Structure Fire 14:37:54 03/11/22
A San Juan Deputy discovered a structure fire while on patrol. The residence appeared to be unoccupied; the Deputy cleared flammable materials from the immediate area until San Juan Fire personnel arrived to combat the fire. No injuries occurred.

SATURDAY, MARCH 12
22-001543 Threats 11:34:05 03/12/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of threats. A subject attempted to take another citizen’s dog they were walking while making threatening statements. The suspect was booked into jail for disorderly conduct and theft first degree criminal attempt.

22-001544 Structure Fire 12:25:04 03/12/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a structure fire. On arrival the fire was found to have been extinguished. The cause appeared to have been accidental.

SUNDAY, MARCH 13
22-001562 Malicious Mischief 07:52:43 03/13/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of vandalism. A house was egged and a flag was taken. No workable leads at this time and the incident was documented.

22-001563 Weapons Offense 15:32:32 03/13/22
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a person pointing a firearm out of a window. An investigation and report were completed.

22-001565 Found Property 16:25:22 03/13/22
A Deputy had an item turned in at the Sheriff’s Office as Found Property. The item was entered into evidence as Found Property. Report taken.

22-001569 Wanted Person 17:41:49 03/13/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to the Sheriff’s Office for a person who wished to turn themselves in on an outstanding warrant. The person was booked into the jail without incident.

22-001571 Accident-Injury, Traffic 18:52:06 03/13/22
A Deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Traffic Accident in the San Juan Island area. One vehicle was off the roadway but no one was injured. After an investigation, the driver was arrested and processed for DUI. Report taken.

SUNDAY, MARCH 14
22-001573 Domestic Dispute or Assault 01:05:50 03/14/22
A Deputy was dispatched to a possible Domestic in the Friday Harbor area. Multiple people reported hearing a male and female arguing. Deputy arrived and contacted the people involved. After speaking with the people, no crime had occurred. Information report was taken.

22-001577 Malicious Mischief 09:21:34 03/14/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of vandalism. A local business was egged by multiple subjects that were seen on video surveillance. The case is currently being investigated.

22-001580 Trouble Unknown 14:29:30 03/14/22
A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to investigate a 9-1-1 hang up call. When dispatch tried repeatedly to call back, the phone was finally answered and immediately hung up again. A child was trying to call mom, and accidentally called 911. There was no emergency.

22-001581 Harassment 15:14:38 03/14/22
Lopez Island Deputies were called to a citizen dispute at a local business involving customers having a heated argument over COVID restrictions. No physical altercation occurred and no property was damaged. A report was taken.

MONDAY, MARCH 15
22-001600 Death Investigation 15:03:30 03/15/22
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a death investigation. The death was determined to be natural.

22-001601 Fraud 15:17:04 03/15/22
A Lopez Island Deputy was called about identity theft/fraud. A resident was contacted by a bank about a credit card application that they did not submit. The application was cancelled. The victim’s personal information had been stolen in the hack of the Department of Licensing.

22-001602 Theft 15:53:13 03/15/22
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a theft report in the Eastsound area. A report was taken, the investigation is ongoing.

22-001610 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:34:08 03/15/22
Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the Eastsound area. No crime had been committed; an informational report was taken.
