A Friday Harbor man was trespassed from a private residence. A trespass letter was served in person.
24-001718 Court Order Violation 15:10:40 03/27/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of an order violation between juveniles. The parties had orders against each other, however, one had expired. The reporting party was confused as to what was active or not. The respondent then left the area. A report was completed.
24-001721 Weapons Noise 16:56:10 03/27/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of shooting of firearms in a residential area. The Sheriff’s Office has received numerous calls regarding target shooting at this location. The caller was informed there is no law or County ordinance that regulates shooting in that location.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a reported firearm theft. An investigation commenced.
24-001732 CPR ALS 22:50:56 03/27/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an unconscious ALS. Deputies performed CPR until San Juan Island EMS and San Juan Fire arrived. Lifesaving efforts ultimately were not successful and the death appears natural at this time.

An Ocas Island Deputy was dispatched to a fraud call that involved suspicious communication. No monetary loss was reported.
24-001764 Citizen Dispute 14:36:26 03/29/24
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a subject having a mental health crisis on North Beach Rd. The person was contacted, seen by EMS and released without incident.
24-001773 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 20:16:09 03/29/24
Deputies on Orcas Island contacted a woman that appeared confused and disoriented. The woman declined any assistance from law enforcement and EMS. The woman was delivered into the care of a person identifying himself as her boyfriend.

A Friday Harbor resident brought bones into the Sheriff’s Office believed to be of native American decent. The bones will be sent to the coroner for determination.

A Lopez man was arrested on a local warrant.

A Lopez Island Deputy was contacted at the Sub-Station for a Citizen Assist Call. The incident was documented.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to an Animal Problem. The incident was documented.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a two vehicle accident at the ferry landing in Friday Harbor. A driver pulled out into the lane of travel when they thought it was clear and struck another vehicle. The drivers exchanged information. A report was completed.

A Lopez resident reported vandalism involving two flags that were hanging at the entrance to their property.
24-001823 Citizen Assist 12:00:54 04/01/24
A San Juan Island Deputy served 3 people with no trespass warning letters for a private residence.
TUESDAY, APRIL 2
24-001835 Accident-Injury, Traffic 07:22:21 04/02/24
A Lopez Island Deputy and Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched to an Accident-Injury. Upon arrival, it was determined not to be an Accident or Injury and the incident was documented.
24-001836 Animal at Large 09:25:03 04/02/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was contacted at the Sub-Station for a Found Dog that was located. The owner was eventually located, and the dog returned. The incident was documented.
24-001846 Theft 14:35:33 04/02/24
A report of a stolen mirror which had gone missing in 2017 was filed with the Sheriff’s Office. It was discovered missing in 2017 and not reported. At this time there are no suspects and an informational report was made.
