A Deputy on Orcas Island assisted an individual with a VIN inspection. The Deputy met with the individual and the incident was documented.
26-001669 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 14:42:13 03/26/26
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to suspicious activity in the Killebrew Lake area. After the Deputy spoke to the reporting party and checked the area, it was discovered that multiple vehicle prowls had been committed. The
incident was documented.
26-001671 Assault – Body Force 15:57:28 03/26/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an assault incident near Eastsound. The Deputy learned that the reporting party did not want legal action taken and only wanted the incident documented.
26-001679 Domestic Dispute or Assault 23:59:04 03/26/26
Deputies in Friday Harbor received a report of a domestic. No assault took place and the Deputies assisted the parties with separation for the night.
FRIDAY, MARCH 27
26-001686 Fraud 14:40:18 03/27/26
A Deputy of Orcas Island took a report of fraud. The Deputy spoke to the reporting party and discovered that the individual did the correct thing and hung up and called back to confirm if it was a legitimate claim. No loss was detected, and the incident was documented.
26-001693 Traffic Hazard 20:55:24 03/27/26
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a traffic hazard. A driver was arrested for DUI, resisting arrest, and felony harassment. The driver refused to provide a breath sample and a blood warrant was issued.

26-001699 Unwanted Person 06:15:36 03/28/26
Orcas Island Deputies responded to an unwanted person near Moran State Park. The Deputies learned that an individual was no longer welcomed at the reporting party’s residence. The subject was issued a trespass warning letter and the incident was documented.
26-001705 Malicious Mischief 11:21:42 03/28/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a vandalism incident in the downtown Eastsound area. The Deputy learned that someone damaged a public shower by lighting a pair of pants on fire. The incident was documented.
26-001709 Found Property 16:43:01 03/28/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a found property incident at the Sheriff’s Office Orcas Island sub-station. A kind and thoughtful citizen found property alongside of Crescent Beach Dr. The property was listed on social media and subsequently placed into the Sheriff’s Office Property Room.

26-001717 Trauma BLS 02:25:41 03/29/26
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to trauma incident at the Orcas Island Fire and Rescue, Headquarters, Station #21. The Deputy learned that the subject was involved in a physical altercation needing medical assistance. The circumstances of the altercation is still be investigated.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Suspicious Call. The incident was documented.
MONDAY, MARCH 30
26-001732 Found Property 12:29:15 03/30/26
A Deputy on Orcas received a found wallet. The owner was contacted.
26-001746 Juvenile Problem 17:25:05 03/30/26
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a juvenile problem. The juvenile was located walking along a roadway and was given a courtesy transport to one of their parents houses. A report was completed.
