24-001533 Lost Property 11:01:53 03/20/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a lost computer.

24-001536 Fraud 13:01:24 03/20/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a fraud. The victim reported that they were defrauded over the phone for $450 and their computer was accessed by the unknown suspects. The victim is working with their bank. There are no leads at this time on who the suspect is.

24-001535 Theft 13:03:31 03/20/24
A Deputy took a report of a lost or stolen dingy from Orcas Island. The dingy was described as being a wooden dingy with a mount for the mast of a sail. The dingy reportedly went missing around the new year. A report was taken.

24-001539 Theft 15:04:41 03/20/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of theft from a store in Friday Harbor. The suspect was quickly identified and was located by Deputies. The individual was taken into custody and booked into the San Juan County jail for Theft in the third degree. A report was completed.

THURSDAY, MARCH 21
24-001563 Malicious Mischief 12:24:31 03/21/24
A Deputy was contacted about a Malicious Mischief in the Friday Harbor area. The person advised they had an verbal argument with someone. Later they noticed their vehicle had a flat tire. The tire had damage to the sidewall. Report taken.

24-001577 Threats 17:24:40 03/21/24
A Deputy responded to a residence after an argument and threats were made. It was determined that the elderly male had made a threat towards the female but is believed to have a condition effecting his mental capability. The subject was transported to a hospital for evaluation.

24-001578 Juvenile Problem 18:13:41 03/21/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a juvenile problem. During the investigation, it was determined that a juvenile assaulted and threatened another. The report was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.

24-001580 Parking Problem 20:30:32 03/21/24
A Lopez Island Deputy observed a vehicle parked illegally on the roadway. The owner was contacted and advised to find a more appropriate parking spot. The incident was documented.

24-001582 Threats 20:55:44 03/21/24
Deputies responded to a third party report of threats on Orcas Island. Further investigation did not reveal evidence that a criminal threat was made. A report was taken.

24-001589 Domestic Dispute or Assault 01:46:44 03/22/24
Lopez Island Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic Disturbance. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined to be a verbal dispute. A report was taken.

24-001593 Accident-NonInj 10:37:51 03/22/24
A Deputy was dispatched to a Single Vehicle Accident. The Deputy arrived and located a single vehicle off the roadway on its roof. Driver was contacted and issued an infraction. Report taken.

24-001597 Hazardous Materials Spill 13:38:39 03/22/24
A Lopez Island Deputy & Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched to a Hazmat Incident in the Village. The incident was documented.

SATURDAY, MARCH 23
24-001614 Citizen Dispute 12:04:34 03/23/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Dispute on Decatur Island. The incident is currently under investigation.

24-001631 Noise Complaint /not dogs 22:39:31 03/23/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a noise complaint. Upon arrival, the Deputy identified that the noise was coming from a residence known to have heavy drug use. Three juveniles were found to be smoking cannabis with the tenant. The Deputy’s report was forwarded to multiple agencies.

SUNDAY, MARCH 24
24-001632 Burglary,NonRes 01:10:29 03/24/24
The Lopez school was burglarized by juveniles. The investigation is ongoing.

24-001656 Found Property 20:02:36 03/24/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of found property. A bag had been left at a restaurant in Friday Harbor. Attempts to contact the owner were made. The bag was submitted into evidence as found property. A report was completed.

MONDAY, MARCH 25
24-001660 Overdose 02:40:18 03/25/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded with EMS and Fire to a report of an overdose. The individual was seen by EMS and flown off the island for further medical care.

24-001671 Citizen Assist 15:19:27 03/25/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a found firearm. The pistol had been left behind by a hotel guest after they checked out of their room. The Deputy took custody of the firearm and booked it in to evidence as found property. A report was completed.

24-001674 Theft 17:37:18 03/25/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a theft complaint. An investigation commenced.
