A Lopez Island Deputy spoke with a resident on regarding unlawful display of sexually explicit material by a juvenile to other juveniles on school property. The matter is being investigated.

A Deputy responded to a report of harassing phone calls in Friday Harbor. The Deputy spoke with the individual involved, completed a report, and referred the report to the probation officer.
18-001698 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 13:08:38 03/15/18
A Lopez deputy investigated property damage to a fence caused by a vehicle. The involved parties will settle the issue on their own.
18-001699 Harassment 15:03:42 03/15/18
A Deputy Responded to a reported harassment complaint. It was later discovered the suspect had an extraditable out of state warrant. The female subject was located, arrested and booked into Jail in Friday Harbor.
18-001703 Runaway Juvenile 17:43:42 03/15/18
Parents reported a runaway juvenile on Orcas Island. Many locations were searched for possible whereabouts. The juvenile had gone to another island and returned home the following day. A report was taken.

Deputies responded to an Eastsound address on a reported reckless driving complaint. Further investigation revealed a female suspect, who immediately turned herself in, had intentionally rammed seven other unoccupied vehicles.
18-001735 Animal Bite 21:05:44 03/16/18
Peace Island reported a dog bite. The victim and dog owner were both contacted and agreed that it was accidental and did not wish any further action. The mandatory dog bite report was completed.

Friday Harbor deputies responded to a DV assault. Both parties were interviewed and the evidence examined. The male party was arrested and booked into jail, pending a hearing in court.

18-001763 Runaway Juvenile 02:05:35 03/18/18
A deputy was contacted via the phone about a Runaway Juvenile in the San Juan Island area. A pick up order was signed and entered. The juvenile returned home later in the morning.
18-001767 Malicious Mischief 11:28:09 03/18/18
A deputy was dispatched to a Malicious Mischief in the San Juan Island area. The reporting deputy arrived and took photos of the damage to the area. Report taken.

18-001802 Traffic Hazard 12:09:12 03/19/18
A Lopez Island deputy assisted a disabled motorist whose vehicle broke down partially blocking the intersection of Hummel Lake and Center Rd. until family members arrived to get the vehicle moved. No further action was necessary.
18-001804 Citizen Assist 12:31:06 03/19/18
Tenant having issues with manager. Manager is complaining about tenant barking dogs but confronted Tenant in an aggressive manner. Tenant advised to contact landlord and file complaint. Tenant also advised to contact Sheriff’s Office if contacted by manager. Manager was not on scene at the time.

A Lopez Island man was taken into custody for violation of the conditions of a court order. He was transported to Friday Harbor and booked into jail pending a court appearance.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a fraud complaint. A report was taken.

A Juvenile Officer came to the office to give a statement regarding an incident that occurred earlier this morning. Investigation Continues.

A Deputy was dispatched to the Welfare Check of female in Friday Harbor. Contact was made and no further issues.
