A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of threats. A report was taken and a probable cause statement was sent to the prosecutor for further review.

An intrepid six-year-old explorer snuck out of his home during the early morning hours, seeking adventure with the hope of catching a ship to an exotic location. A good Samaritan and a Lopez Deputy reunited him with his father.

A Deputy on San Juan arrested a subject on an outstanding warrant for their arrest. The subject was booked into jail and an additional report will be forwarded regarding alcohol conditions violation.

A Deputy on San Juan stopped a vehicle for speeding and lane travel. The driver was arrested for DUI and issued infractions for speed and
driving left of center.

Deputies responded to a person in a possible mental health crisis on Orcas Island. With the person’s permission, firearms were collected for safekeeping by the Sheriff’s Office.

A Deputy on Orcas did a business check as there was an anonymous tip that a business in Eastsound was not following the mask wearing protocol set by the county. The business owner was spoken to and they are taking every precaution according to the laws.

A Lopez resident reported an incident of fraud involving their Amazon prime account.

A Lopez resident reported a decrepit motor home driving on a private road, possibly looking to camp. The area checked clear a short time later.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Citizen Dispute in the Friday Harbor area. The reporting Deputy arrived. One of the people involved had already left the scene. Report taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to the ferry landing in Friday Harbor in reference to an Overdose. The reporting Deputy arrived and contacted the person. The person was treated by Aid. Investigation continues.

A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a single vehicle accident on Mud Bay Road. There were no injuries or reportable damage done to property. A report was completed.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a citizen dispute at a business. The suspect was located and arrested for theft 3rd degree, malicious mischief 3rd degree and obstructing a law enforcement officer.

Lopez Island Deputies responded to a home invasion complaint. The reporting person stated several unidentified people were trying to break into his home. It was determined the reporting person was suffering a mental episode that was causing hallucinations. He was evaluated by EMS.

Deputies on Orcas responded to a possible domestic dispute call in Eastsound. After the investigation was completed it was determined that there was no crime and a report was taken.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to Found Property. A person was turning in a bank card they found in the roadway during a walk. Items entered into evidence. Report taken.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a citizen dispute at a grocery store. The female suspect will have charges referred to the court for trespassing and assault, with a request for mandatory mental health care intervention.

A Deputy on San Juan responded to a report of a verbal domestic. The incident was found to be verbal only and a report was taken.

Lopez Island Deputies took a man into protective custody after a series of calls involving the subject. He was transported to a hospital for an evaluation.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud. The caller advised they received a call from someone claiming to be with a Utility company. They were told they owed money and needed to make payments. The caller did not owe anything. No loss but report taken.

A Deputy responded to a report of an attempted Fraud by an unknown individual. After speaking with the caller it was determined that no loss occurred and a report was made.

An Orcas Island Deputy impounded a vehicle that had been parked at the Orcas Park and Ride for an extensive amount of time and appeared to be abandoned. A report was taken.

A Deputy on Orcas Island was dispatched to a theft of a ladder in Eastsound. A theft report was filed.

A Deputy was dispatched to a report of an unwanted person. The unwanted person was issued a trespass letter. There was another resident who had a warrant out of San Juan County who was taken into custody. Report made.

A Deputy on Orcas Island encountered a juvenile that had crashed his bicycle. The juvenile was given a ride home and delivered into the care of his parents.
