A Deputy was dispatched to a Hit and Run in the Friday Harbor area. The person contacted stated that their vehicle was struck while parked in a local parking lot. The damage was minimal. Report taken.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Trespass in the Friday Harbor area. A local business had a person who was storing items on the property and sleeping there. The person was contacted and served with a Trespass Warning Letter.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a theft of a motor vehicle at the ferry landing. The owner was off island for a few weeks and when they returned the vehicle was gone. There are no suspects at this time. The vehicle was entered as stolen and a report was written.

A San Juan resident called regarding an unknown neighbor dumping yard waste into the Salish Sea. The caller will attempt to solve the issue and identify the littering party via their HOA before any law enforcement investigation, which would then lead to fines from the Department of Ecology.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a disturbance onboard a Washington State Ferry. An intoxicated male was beginning to cause a problem on the ferry and continued to move around the car decks, trying to hide under cars. The individual was located and was removed from the ferry.
