The Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-moped collision on Cattle Point Rd. One driver sustained minor injuries. The incident was recorded.

A Lopez man was contacted and urged to connect with local service providers regarding his living situation.

A Deputy responded to a report of an order violation at Moran State Park. The incident was investigated, and no crime was found to be committed. The protected party was referred to the court to request the order be amended to offer greater protection from the respondent.

San Juan County Deputies on marine patrol contacted a vessel in West Sound. The vessel displayed expired registration decals from 2021 and the operator did not have a mandatory boaters education card. An infraction was issued to the operator.

A person came to the Sheriff’s lobby in Friday Harbor to request persons be trespassed from a property. Trespass letters were signed by the requestor and added to the case.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a theft. A stolen credit card was used at a local business, but the business did not have cameras and the suspect was unable to be identified.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a drunken individual attempting to board a ferry. The individual was contacted and arrested for being in physical control of a vehicle while intoxicated.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a residential burglary. The investigation showed that a juvenile crashed their car and broke a window to a residence. They were arrested for several offenses including DUI,
malicious mischief 2nd degree, and possession of a controlled substance.

A Lopez resident requested assistance with the possible theft of a package delivered from Amazon. A report was completed.

A Friday Harbor couple reported their dinghy stolen from the Port of Friday Harbor. The perpetrator is from the Marysville area and was seen on video taking the boat. An investigation is currently underway.

Deputies on Orcas Island conducted a welfare check at the request of Adult Protective Services (APS). A report was authored and forwarded to APS.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to an animal at large complaint. Two dog owners were issued Dog-at-Lage warnings.
