Detectives received a case report from another law enforcement agency. The case has been investigated by us and the other agency and is for information only at this time.

25-000133 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:10:53 01/08/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident. An arrest was made and the person was booked into jail for Harassment – Threats to Kill – DV, Malicious Mischief 2nd degree – DV, and Assault 4th degree – DV.

25-000134 Juvenile Problem 18:15:42 01/08/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a juvenile problem.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 9
25-000139 Found Property 09:56:44 01/09/25 
A Deputy was dispatched to Found Property. The person located an item at the head of their driveway. Attempts to contact owner of the item failed. Item entered into evidence. Report taken.

25-000145 Theft 13:28:08 01/09/25
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a Theft call and the incident was documented.

25-000150 Unconscious ALS 15:02:22 01/09/25
A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of an attempted suicide. The person had made comments about self harm and had possibly taken something. The person was transported by EMS to the hospital.

25-000151 Accident-Injury, Traffic 15:06:39 01/09/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a vehicle collision with injuries. The driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed head-on into a tree. The driver was flown off island to a hospital.

25-000154 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:09:52 01/09/25
A San Juan Deputy took a report of a suspicious incident. The incident was documented, no involved parties were identifiable.

25-000156 Citizen Dispute 20:25:46 01/09/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a citizen dispute. A person involved in the incident received a trespass warning letter from the residence.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 10
25-000158 Welfare Check 03:01:53 01/10/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a welfare check. The investigation showed that the person was under the influence and fled from the Deputy when he was contacted.

25-000161 Vehicle Theft 07:54:37 01/10/25
A Deputy was dispatched to a Vehicle Theft. The person reported that a vehicle had been removed from his business’s impound yard. Report taken.

25-000170 Mental Health 13:05:31 01/10/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an individual experiencing a mental health crisis as result of using hallucinogenic drugs. The individual refused care, no crime was committed, and the incident was documented.

25-000177 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 15:14:32 01/10/25
The Sheriff located a suspect in a stolen vehicle case. The suspect fled on foot and was apprehended a short distance away. The suspect was charged with Taking a Motor Vehicle without Permission, Burglary 2nd degree, Assault 3rd degree, Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer, and Resisting Arrest.

25-000179 Mental Health. 15:47:18 01/10/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a mental health call. The individual was hallucinating that someone was inside their house. The incident was documented and forwarded to Adult Protective Services.

25-000180 Civil Problem 17:29:22 01/10/25
A Lopez Deputy responded when a concerned citizen reported finding unfamiliar women’s undergarments and several other unusual items in their home. The incident was documented.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 11
25-000184 Found Property 08:55:46 01/11/25
A Deputy was contacted about Found Property. The person turned over a found item. The item was entered into evidence. Report taken.

25-000187 Burglary,NonRes 11:11:34 01/11/25
A Deputy was dispatched to a Burglary in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy arrived and contacted the person involved. The person reported someone had come onto the property and checked the buildings out. Nothing appears missing. Report taken.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 12
25-000200 Citizen Assist 19:38:19 01/12/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a call for a citizen assist. The reporting party wanted to report concerning behavior of someone that they know, so that it was documented in the case that anything happens involving that person in the future. A report was completed.

25-000202 Overdose 20:31:16 01/12/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of a possible overdose. The Deputies located the female inside of a residence, barely responsive. San Juan Island EMS took over patient care immediately. The female was flown off the island for further care. A report was completed.

MONDAY, JANUARY 13
25-000206 Unwanted Person 10:02:16 01/13/25
An Orcas Island Deputy received a call of an unwanted person at the Exchange. A no trespass warning letter was signed by the management of the Exchange.

25-000212 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 13:12:08 01/13/25
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a suspicious call in the Eastsound area. It was later determined that the call was in reference to a mental health call from the day prior. No crime was committed, and the incident was documented.

25-000222 Mental Health 17:28:11 01/13/25
A Lopez resident was contacted on a mental health complaint. The proper care providers are working on the issue.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 14
25-000231 Fraud 10:48:54 01/14/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a fraud investigation in the Olga area. The reporting parties bank account had been compromised and an unknown suspect(s) used the bank account to purchase airline tickets. The investigation is ongoing.

25-000235 Agency Assistance 12:33:37 01/14/25
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an agency assist in the Eastsound area. There were concerns of an individual being a possible vulnerable adult. An interview took place, and the incident was documented.

25-000236 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 12:49:53 01/14/25
A Lopez resident called about a troublesome living situation involving a friend. Deputies are aware of the situation after responding multiple times to this residence. Adult Protective Services and the family have been notified that a solution is needed from them.

25-000237 Theft 13:17:46 01/14/25
Lopez resident reported the theft of packages from their mailbox. This occurred closer to the holiday season.
