24-000485 Lost Property 14:21:48 01/24/24
A Deputy took a report of a lost wallet from the Eastsound area. Information was provided in the event the wallet is found.

24-000488 Rape/Attempted Rape 15:08:05 01/24/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a reported sexual assault. The investigation is ongoing.

24-000490 Found Property 15:38:08 01/24/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of found property. An earring was entered into evidence as the owner is not known.

24-000492 Fraud 16:05:37 01/24/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a fraudulent phone call. The fraudster already knew their personal information and then asked for banking information; that’s when they knew it was a fraudulent. No loss was reported. A report was completed.

24-000494 Assault – Body Force 16:11:41 01/24/24
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of an assault that occurred over a month ago. A report was taken.

24-000495 Court Order Violation 16:45:13 01/24/24
A Lopez Deputy responded to a order violation call. A report was taken, and probable cause for violating a court order was drafted.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 25
24-000502 Theft 09:37:27 01/25/24
A report of a stolen Google Chromebook was made. The victim’s Chromebook was taken from their book bag while at school. The investigation is ongoing.

24-000504 Theft 11:28:00 01/25/24
A Deputy was contacted about a Theft. The person reported leaving an item and the item being gone upon their return. No suspects at this time. Report taken.

24-000521 Trespassing 22:58:50 01/25/24
A Lopez Deputy responded to a trespassing call. An unknown individual was caught trespassing on private property by the property owner. The individual fled into the woods when they realized they had been spotted.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 26
24-000529 Fraud 09:45:57 01/26/24
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a fraud call. The victim had lost a small amount of money in an online scam. A report was taken.

24-000530 Threats 12:50:32 01/26/24
A San Juan Deputy took a report of threats. The reporting parties wished to advise of a person’s degrading mental health that had resulted in ambiguous threats being levied at them. The incident was documented.

24-000535 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 16:04:39 01/26/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of suspicious comments. No crime was committed and the incident was documented.

24-000538 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:08:24 01/26/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a domestic incident. Parties involved reported it to have been verbal only. One party was served a court order expelling them from the property. They were given a ride from the scene.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 27
24-000542 Domestic Dispute or Assault 02:10:41 01/27/24
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic. Upon arrival, one person was gone and the Deputies interviewed the other party. The suspect was located a short time later and arrested for assault 4 – DV.

24-000544 Found Property 08:51:15 01/27/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a found bicycle in the village. No owner information was found, and the incident was documented.

24-000550 Theft 14:28:15 01/27/24
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of theft at King’s Market. A known person was caught attempting to steal an item from the store. The person was trespassed from all Valmark properties at the request of the store manager.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 28
24-000561 Found Property 08:17:58 01/28/24
A Deputy was contacted at the Sheriff’s Office about Found Property. The person turned in an item to the Deputy. The item was placed into evidence as Found Property. Report taken.

24-000562 Court Order Violation 09:55:58 01/28/24
A Deputy responded to a order violation call. The matter is under investigation.

24-000580 Accident-Injury, Traffic 23:34:09 01/28/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a reported vehicle versus pedestrian collision. There was no evidence a person had been struck by a vehicle. The original complaint was determined to be unfounded.

MONDAY, JANUARY 29
24-000586 Theft 08:58:57 01/29/24
An Orcas Island Deputy took a theft report. The reporting party went to Island Market and left a wallet in an unlocked vehicle. The reporting party realized the wallet was missing later in the evening and believed it was taken from the vehicle while at Island Market. There are no investigative leads.

24-000594 Wanted Person 16:18:16 01/29/24
A Deputy on San Juan Island contacted a citizen at his address who had a confirmed warrant for his arrest. The citizen was arrested for the warrant and was booked into the San Juan County Jail.

24-000595 Abandoned Vehicle 16:34:35 01/29/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island issued a notice of infraction for abandoning a vehicle at a local towing establishment.

24-000599 Theft 19:14:04 01/29/24
A Deputy on Orcas Island arrested a person for shoplifting an alcoholic beverage. The subject was booked into jail.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 30
24-000602 Threats 05:22:08 01/30/24
A Friday Harbor resident had a confrontation with a ferry lot attendant in Friday Harbor. The suspect in the confrontation was later arrested for Harassment and resisting arrest. He was booked into the jail pending a hearing with the judge.

24-000607 Citizen Assist 10:23:19 01/30/24
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a citizen assist call regarding an ongoing family issue. An Informational report was taken.
