WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 5
25-000680 Found Property 12:00:48 02/05/25
An Orcas Island Deputy located found property in Eastsound. It was later reunited with the controlling party.

25-000692 Traffic Violation 22:04:03 02/05/25
A San Juan Deputy observed a vehicle driving erratically passed the Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle was located a few blocks away, disabled, and the driver was arrested for DUI. They were nearly four times the legal limit.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 6
25-000698 Agency Assistance 09:22:24 02/06/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a driving complaint at the Orcas Ferry Terminal. The driver was identified and warned.

25-000699 Trespassing 09:43:56 02/06/25
A San Juan Deputy trespassed a person from the Port of Friday Harbor due to damage caused to facilities.

25-000700 Threats 09:52:54 02/06/25
A Deputy was dispatched to a Threats call in the San Juan Island area. The Deputy arrived and contacted the involved people. No crime had been committed. Both parties were advised to avoid contact with the other.

25-000703 DUI 12:27:35 02/06/25
Deputies were dispatched to a possible DUI in the San Juan Island area. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and arrested for Driving While License Suspended and Operating a Motor vehicle without Ignition Interlock. The driver was booked into custody.

25-000705 Child Abuse or Neglect 13:31:26 02/06/25
A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a report of Child Abuse. An investigation was conducted, and an individual was later taken into custody for Assault 2nd Degree DV. The incident was documented.

25-000707 Unconscious ALS 14:18:34 02/06/25
San Juan Deputies and EMS responded to a report of an unconscious person in a boat. The person was found deceased. An investigation was conducted and a report was generated.

25-000711 Communications Problem 17:04:15 02/06/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a communications call. The matter is under investigation.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 7
25-000714 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 00:20:39 02/07/25
A San Juan Sheriff’s Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. Deputies observed vehicle and found the driver to have a suspended license. The driver was issued citation for driving with suspended license in the 3rd degree.

25-000717 Harassment 10:05:11 02/07/25
A Lopez Island Deputy was contacted regarding Harassment. An investigation was conducted, and the incident was documented.

25-000722 Welfare Check 12:05:36 02/07/25
A San Juan Deputy conducted a welfare check. The person advised they needed no assistance.

25-000724 Theft 13:05:18 02/07/25
A Deputy was contacted about information on some crimes committed on Lopez. The person provided suspect information for several crimes. Investigation continues.

25-000731 Found Property 17:07:08 02/07/25
A San Juan Deputy was dispatched to a report of a found firearm. The weapon was located and found to be unloaded and non-functional due to saltwater corrosion. No match was found in the statewide database. The weapon was placed into evidence.

25-000786 Unwanted Person 10:02:38 02/10/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of an individual camping in the Village. The individual moved along after being contacted.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11
25-000815 Trespassing 15:20:25 02/11/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a trespassing complaint. The subject was charged with criminal trespass in the first degree.
