A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of bicycles left at Linde Park for weeks. The Deputy took custody of the bicycles and stored them in evidence as found property.

22-001197 Unwanted Person 14:37:02 02/23/22
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an unwanted person in Friday Harbor. The involved party was contacted and de-escalated. They were trespassed from the business at the request of the business manager.

A San Juan Deputy was advised of a theft. No suspect information exists; an information report was taken.

22-001204 Domestic Dispute or Assault 22:33:23 02/23/22
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Sea View St. An investigation was conducted, and it was determined no crime was committed. An incident report was authored.

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 24
22-001209 Fraud 08:27:01 02/24/22
A Deputy on Orcas took a fraud callback.The reporting party’s bank fraud department had refunded all money lost and was on the case. An informational report was taken.

22-001211 Fraud 10:28:39 02/24/22
A Deputy responded to a delayed report of a Fraudulent charge that occurred on the callers business account. The act of the crime occurred in California and local police advised call to make a report with their local LE agency. Report made and forwarded to LE agency in California.

22-001219 Agency Assistance 15:11:32 02/24/22
A San Juan Deputy conducted a Welfare Check on behalf of Adult Protective Services. The Alleged Victim refuted the claims, advising they were satisfied with their arrangements. No signs of abuse or neglect were noted.

A lost credit card was turned into the Sheriff’s Office. A Lopez Deputy contacted the owner and returned the card.

22-001239 Citizen Assist 14:51:54 02/25/22
A Lopez Deputy provided a citizen with a jump start for their vehicle, which had a dead battery.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 26
22-001253 Accident-Injury, Traffic 08:54:32 02/26/22
An Orcas man was found deceased near his home. It appeared he died of natural causes. An investigation and report completed.

22-001259 Domestic Dispute or Assault 13:44:58 02/26/22
San Juan Deputies responded to a domestic incident in Friday Harbor. Investigation revealed that a crime had occurred, and the aggressing party was booked into jail for Assault 4 – DV and Interfering with the report of Domestic Violence.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the 100 block of Eastsound Shores Rd. and conducted a death investigation. A report was authored.

22-001271 Found Property 16:07:19 02/27/22
A Deputy was contacted in reference to Found Property. The Deputy took the property and entered the property into evidence as Found Property.

22-001278 Disorderly Conduct 21:20:36 02/27/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a report of a person lying in the road. The person was found to be intoxicated, in violation of Court-imposed release conditions. A report was forwarded to the San Juan County Prosecutor’s Office.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to dispute between an adult and juvenile.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a single vehicle accident with no injury in Eastsound.The owner of the vehicle had already contacted AAA for removing the vehicle. A report was taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a single vehicle roll over collision. The investigation determined the driver was driving too fast for conditions. The driver was issued multiple infractions.

A Deputy in Friday Harbor received a report of a traffic collision. The Deputy contacted the people involved and completed a collision report.

A Lopez Island Deputy was called about an ongoing neighbor dispute. A report was taken.

Deputies on Orcas responded to the library for an unwanted person. The person left when informed they needed to leave by law enforcement. A report was taken.

A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a citizen dispute between a landlord and former tenant. A report was completed.

22-001310 CPR ALS 10:16:25 03/01/22
A Deputy was dispatched to a Death Investigation. The Deputy completed a death report.The death was not suspicious.

22-001304 Malicious Mischief 10:45:22 03/01/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a vandalism call near Eastsound. A report and photographs were taken.No suspects at this time. Waiting on possible video surveillance.

22-001305 Missing Person 10:50:28 03/01/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a missing person. The person later made contact with the Deputy and stated that they are okay.

22-001306 Wanted Person 10:57:44 03/01/22
Deputies on Orcas Island arrested a person on an outstanding warrant.

22-001308 Trespassing 11:51:10 03/01/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a local business. They stated they wanted a Trespass Warning Letter given to an individual. The warning letter was signed by the manager, suspect, and a Deputy. A report was written.

22-001317 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:07:30 03/01/22
Deputies on Orcas responded to a welfare check. After an investigation was completed, it was found that an assault had occurred. The suspect was arrested and transported to Friday Harbor.

22-001324 Accident-Injury, Traffic 03:14:02 03/02/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a single vehicle collision. The juvenile driver was issued infractions for driving without a license and driving with wheels off the roadway.
