18-001249 Assault – Body Force 02:46:41 02/22/18
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to an assault in the Eastsound area. The victim, a local woman, claimed she was followed into her home by a male subject and assaulted in the early evening hours. The scene was processed and a report was taken. The investigation is ongoing.
18-001263 Runaway Juvenile 18:21:23 02/22/18
A juvenile was reported as a runaway. A juvenile pickup order was signed by the reporting party.

18-001268 Fraud 10:51:06 02/23/18
A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Fraud in the San Juan Island area. The caller advised that someone called and requested remote access to the caller’s computer. The caller allowed this and then received a call from the bank advising $500 had been charged.
18-001270 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 11:37:50 02/23/18
A Deputy was investigating a Suspicious Circumstance. The reporting Deputy made contact with a vehicle in the Friday Harbor area. One person was arrested on Out of County warrants and a second person was cited for Driving While License Suspended/Revoked.
18-001271 Court Order Violation 12:59:41 02/23/18
An Orcas Deputy received a report of a protection order violation. An investigation was conducted and a report was forwarded to the prosecutor’s office.
18-001283 Runaway Juvenile 23:12:04 02/23/18
A Friday Harbor mother called to report her daughter as a juvenile runaway. The runaway form was filled out and Deputies searched for the runaway without success. Investigation continues.

18-001284 Mental Health 01:53:16 02/24/18
A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence for a potential suicidal person. It was determined the intoxicated person was not an immediate threat to himself or others and a report was completed.
18-001287 Abandoned Vehicle 12:31:29 02/24/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle was posted for 24 hour removal. The owner was contacted and advised.
18-001289 Animal Bite 13:58:08 02/24/18
A Deputy was dispatched to a Dog Bite in the Friday Harbor area. The involved parties were contacted. A report was filed with San Juan Health Department.

A juvenile was reported as a runaway. A juvenile pickup order was signed by the reporting party.

18-001323 Wanted Person 20:57:22 02/25/18
A Deputy arrested a male in Friday Harbor for an outstanding Felony Warrant for Possession of Heroin. After the arrest, the male was also found to be in possession of Heroin and Methamphetamine and arrested on those charges. Arrest made, evidence submitted, and report made.

A Lopez Deputy investigated a hit and run collision in the library parking lot. The female driver of a brown mini-van backed into an unoccupied parked Honda. The driver exited the van, looked at the obvious damage to the Honda, and left the scene without leaving a note.
18-001332 Theft 15:40:44 02/26/18
A Deputy investigated a possible theft from a Lopez residence. An informational report was completed.

18-001350 Vicious Animal 12:41:33 02/27/18
A Deputy responded to a report of an animal problem on San Juan Island. The Deputy gathered the information and an information report was made.
18-001351 Trespassing 13:30:05 02/27/18
A Deputy responded to a walk in report of a trespassing issue in Friday Harbor. A trespass warning letter was generated and will be served on the individual involved. Report made.
18-001355 Animal at Large 15:48:42 02/27/18
A Lopez Island woman found a dog running loose along Mud Bay Rd and safely caught it. The owner was identified and the dog was reclaimed and sent home. No further action was taken.
18-001359 Vicious Animal 18:53:35 02/27/18
A Lopez Island resident called regarding an aggressive dog that was no longer supposed to be in the neighborhood. Upon contact by the Deputy, the dog owner agreed to take the dog and leave the area. An information report was taken.
18-001358 Accident-NonInj 19:01:14 02/27/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a single vehicle collision. The vehicle damaged a section of wooden fence. The driver will be issued an infraction for driving with wheels off roadway.
18-001360 Welfare Check 19:34:47 02/27/18
Deputies arrived at a San Juan Island residence to check on the welfare of a citizen. The Citizen was ultimately transported to the hospital.
