Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a domestic. No crime was observed and a report was taken.

n Orcas Island Deputy conducted a welfare check, from a report of a concerned citizen, in the Mount Woolard area. After an investigation was conducted there was no evidence of wrongdoing.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to a death investigation. The investigation revealed no suspicious activity.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the Olga area for a dog bite investigation. The victim was bit on the hand by a loose dog. The owner of the dog was issued a warning letter, and the matter was documented.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an unwanted person in the Crow Valley area. When the Deputy arrived, it was discovered that it was a miscommunication about water containers. The incident was documented, and the unwanted person was advised to address their concerns during the daylight hours.

San Juan Deputies responded to a trouble unknown. While enroute dispatch advised they could hear sounds of a potential domestic violence incident. Upon arrival Deputies found sounds were from dog owner training a dog. No crime was observed and Deputies cleared the call.

Orcas Island Deputies responded to a domestic dispute. Alcohol appeared to be a contributing factor and the reported allegations were unfounded. The incident was documented.

A San Juan Deputy was sent to a request for a welfare check. The person was contacted and found to be fine.

An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a citizen assist call at the Orcas Island Sheriff’s Office sub-station. After getting details of the incident the Deputy helped the citizen with a fraud case involving a fake USDA modified home loan. The incident was documented.

San Juan Deputies observed an individual at a property they have previously been trespassed from. The Deputies issued a citation for criminal trespass in the 2nd degree.

A Deputy on Orcas Island received a fraud complaint. The complainant reported someone hacked their computer, then sent them a fictitious link to what they believed was the browser’s website to fix it. They realized they were being scammed before any loss was incurred.

Deputies on Orcas Island, along with Moran State Park Rangers responded to a report involving a child missing in a wooded area. The child was located and returned home.

A Lopez Deputy responded to a disorderly conduct call. An elderly individual wanting to access a locked room used a blow torch to attempt to catch a door on fire. An APS referral was made.

An Orcas Island Deputy authored an incident report regarding a civil matter on Shaw Island. Neighbors have an ongoing dispute over trees blocking an easement/access road.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a report of an unconscious person. San Juan Island EMS and Fire also responded. Life saving efforts were conducted, however the individual passed away. An investigation is ongoing. A report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy was contacted regarding Harassment. The incident was documented.

A Lopez Island Deputy was dispatched to a local business for an unwanted person call. The caller, an employee of the business advised that there was a female who appeared to be intoxicated on the premises. The individual was contacted, and the incident was documented.

A Lopez Island Deputy and Lopez Island Fire & EMS were dispatched to a Welfare Check. An individual was later transported to a Peace Island Medical Center for further care. The incident was documented.

A Friday Harbor resident turned over 2 firearms and a replica sword for safekeeping. They were booked into the property and evidence room.

Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a domestic incident in Friday Harbor. A juvenile was taken into custody on multiple charges. A report was completed.
