A Lopez Island Deputy was sent to do a welfare check on behalf of Adult Protective Services. The subject was found at home safe, and the findings reported back to APS.

A Deputy on Orcas Island received information that a person near Eastsound was wanted on a felony warrant. The suspect was located and arrested on the warrant. The suspect was transported to the San Juan County Jail and booked.

Orcas Island Deputies were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the Eastsound Area. A subject was subsequently taken into protective custody and transported to Peace Island Medical Center on San Juan Island for a mental evaluation.

A Deputy on Orcas Island impounded a vehicle from the ferry terminal. The vehicle was not in operating condition and had been abandoned for several weeks.

A Lopez Deputy investigated the theft of a county road sign. There are no suspects at this time.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an accident-injury. The driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation and was arrested for driving under the influence.

Deputies responded to a capsized vessel in Reeds Bay, Decatur Island. The boat was unturned by the windstorm while tied to a mooring buoy, unoccupied. The owner was identified and notified of the situation. US Coast Guard and WA Dept of Ecology were advised. Owner working on recovery.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a collision. The driver was arrested and booked for DUI.

A Deputy was contacted in reference to a Hit and Run Accident. The Deputy arrived and contacted the caller. The reporting Deputy took photos of the damage. No evidence located at scene. Report taken.

A Deputy on Orcas was dispatched to a mail theft call near Map Corner. A report was taken and there are no suspects at this time.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22

A Deputy responded to a call back call of a citizen assist in Friday Harbor. The caller had questions about possible trespassers and options were discussed on how to handle trespassing issues. Information report made.
20-010759 Wanted Person 12:27:05 12/22/20
A Friday Harbor Deputy located and arrested a male with four active warrant issued out of San Juan County District Court. The male was booked into jail awaiting a hearing and a report completed.
