18-006582 Animal at Large 09:20:54 08/29/18
A Lopez Island resident observed an unfamiliar dog running in the pasture with their livestock. The dog was gone when the Deputy arrived.

18-006583 Citizen Assist 10:45:05 08/29/18
A Deputy responded to a citizen assist call regarding a civil standby to retrieve property. The civil standby occurred without incident and an information report made.

18-006588 Theft 13:01:18 08/29/18
A Lopez Island Deputy took a theft report from an island resident.

18-006595 Court Order Violation 16:19:14 08/29/18
A Deputy received a report of an order violation. Probable cause was established to arrest the known suspect. The suspect was located, arrested and booked into jail in Friday Harbor.

An Orcas Island Deputy conducted an area check at the Eastsound County Dock. At about 0130 hours there was a vessel located at the dock which had been issued infractions for unlawful overnight moorage before. The Deputy issued the vessel an infraction.

A Deputy responded to a walk in report of found property. An owner could not be found, the property was submitted to the evidence room, and a report made.

A Deputy responded to a report of a citizen dispute in Friday Harbor. The Deputy met with the involved parties, determined no crime was committed, and an information report was taken. No further investigation.

A Deputy responded to a walk in report of a vehicle prowl in Friday Harbor. The reporting party advised there was no suspect description, no evidence, and no video of the incident. Information was gathered and a report taken.

An Orcas Deputy was dispatched to a fraud call near Eastsound. A report was taken. No known suspects at this time.

A Deputy responded to a report of a sick animal in Friday Harbor. The Deputy contacted the people involved, gathered the needed information, and a report was made. Investigation ongoing.

A Lopez Deputy was called to investigate a theft of gasoline from the South End store. Deputies are searching for the vehicle and driver. A report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to a welfare check in Friday Harbor. A report was taken.

A Deputy met with a citizen who was having a dispute with his girlfriend.

An Orcas Deputy investigated the theft of a boat trailer. The investigation is still ongoing.

A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence for a potential suicidal person. There was no evidence that the individual, who had been drinking alcohol, was an imminent threat to himself or others and a report was completed.

A Lopez island Deputy responded to a noise complaint off of Hummel Lake Road. The source of the noise was located at a residence and the home owner turned down his stereo. A report was completed.

A Deputy was dispatched to a Domestic in the San Juan Island area. The reporting Deputy made contact with the involved person. Report taken.

18-006731 Parking Problem 20:12:05 09/01/18
An Orcas Island Deputy discovered a vehicle in the 5100 block of Deer Harbor Road that had been marked with a 24 hour impound notice. The vehicle had not been moved in the allotted time and was impounded. A second vehicle was found nearby and also issued a 24 hour impound warning.

Deputies on Orcas responded to a report of threats. The suspect was located and arrested for Assault 2nd Degree.

A Lopez Deputy was called for a waterborne disturbance on Fisherman Bay. The involved people traveled via dinghy to a larger boat on the bay for the evening.

18-006748 Assault – Body Force 02:22:43 09/02/18
A Deputy on Orcas responded to an assault. No suspect information was provided. An informational report was taken.

18-006754 Burglary,NonRes 10:56:03 09/02/18
The public showers/restrooms in Lopez Village Park were burglarized. The padlocks securing the donation boxes were removed and an unknown amount of money was taken. The incident is under investigation.

San Juan Deputies were advised of a cold burglary. An investigation was conducted and a report was completed.

A Lopez Island Deputy received a wallet and cell phone found on a roadway. Efforts are underway to reunite the items with their rightful owner.

18-006772 Harassment 17:14:50 09/02/18
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of harassment. Investigation revealed a landlord-tenant issue. Parties were referred to the Civil division for further information.

A small dog was collected from Odlin Park on Lopez where it had been wandering most of the day. The untagged dog was placed into the kennels until its unknown owner could be located.

A Lopez Deputy was advised of a suspicious vehicle parked on private property. The occupants were identified and moved along.
