25-001954 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 10:30:42 04/09/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a report of property damage. Upon investigation Deputies found damage to a fence along the road, as well as signs of a vehicle leaving the road. No evidence identifying a suspect was found.
25-001962 Citizen Assist 14:10:03 04/09/25
A Lopez resident shared concerns about the behavior of a homeless man in the Lopez Village. Deputies and other service providers have gone above and beyond in trying to connect the male with helpful resources.
25-001966 Wanted Person 15:35:37 04/09/25
San Juan Deputies located an individual with a warrant for their arrest. The individual was taken into custody without incident and was booked into jail.
25-001968 Mental Health 15:41:33 04/09/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a person experiencing mental health issues at a business in Eastsound. The Deputy offered to help provide resources to the person, but they declined any assistance. The business owners wanted the person to be trespassed and subsequently the person was trespassed.
25-001972 Citizen Assist 17:29:33 04/09/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of an unhoused individual in the Village trespassing on private property. A trespass warning letter will be issued.
25-001976 Attempted Suicide 19:31:03 04/09/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a suicide attempt. The individual was transported to the hospital by EMS.
25-001977 Vicious Animal 19:35:15 04/09/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a dog bite on Kielhaven Lane. While an individual was biking, they were attacked by an off-leash dog. The dog bit the biker’s arm. The dog owner will be issued a criminal citation for public nuisance.
25-001978 Domestic Dispute or Assault 19:41:04 04/09/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a dispute in Friday Harbor between an employer and a live-in employee who was no longer welcome to stay. A report was completed.
THURSDAY, APRIL 10
25-001980 Theft 10:35:52 04/10/25
A Deputy was contacted about a theft of mail. The person reported a package being taken from their mailbox. Incident also reported to the Post Office. Report taken.
25-001984 Parking Problem 12:40:00 04/10/25
A Lopez resident failed to respond to verbal reminder to remove their sailboat from the Hunter Bay dock. Fines of over $500.00 were issued and the vessel was referred to the derelict vessel removal program. Further citations will be issued if necessary.
25-001989 Theft 14:00:35 04/10/25
San Juan Island Deputies responded to a report of theft at a local business. Deputies reviewed security footage and observed the theft. The suspect was contacted and was issued a criminal citation for theft in the third degree.
25-001994 Court Order Violation 16:41:20 04/10/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a no-contact order violation. The suspect is believed to be living out of state and the Deputy’s report was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office.
FRIDAY, APRIL 11
25-002010 Trespassing 12:16:59 04/11/25
San Juan Deputies responded to an address for a report of trespassing. The involved party was contacted and taken into custody without incident.
25-002022 Vicious Animal 17:35:25 04/11/25
A Lopez Deputy responded when a couple walking their dogs on the beach had a confrontation with a man walking his goat on a leash. No four-legged animals of any kind were harmed. The incident was documented.
25-002024 Court Order Violation 18:36:01 04/11/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of an order violation. Probable cause was developed, but the suspect left the island during the investigation. The Deputy’s report was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office for charging.
SATURDAY, APRIL 12
25-002028 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 04:21:45 04/12/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. The Deputy located the vehicle and the driver was arrested for DUI.
25-002030 Theft 09:31:39 04/12/25
A Deputy was contacted about Theft. The person reported that their mail had been stolen over the past 2 weeks. No suspect information at this time. Report taken.
25-002045 Unwanted Person 17:22:23 04/12/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of trespassing on a private dock on Hummel Lake. The trespassers had departed by the time the Deputy arrived.
25-002046 Citizen Assist 17:37:25 04/12/25
A person in another state contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report he was being attacked by a microwave weapon. He was informed we have no jurisdiction in his state, and he needs to seek relief from his local, state or federal agency.
25-002050 Domestic Dispute or Assault 23:02:03 04/12/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic. The incident was not criminal in nature and the parties separated for the night. A report was made.

A Lopez Deputy responded to an unfounded report of prowlers. The caller was experiencing drug induced hallucinations.
25-002075 Trespassing 09:06:51 04/14/25
A village business trespassed disruptive female from their property.
25-002079 Theft 11:48:25 04/14/25
A Lopez resident reported the theft of a tandem bicycle from his residence in the village.

25-002112 Parking Problem 19:18:02 04/15/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a parking property. Ultimately, a person was trespassed from another persons property. A report was completed
