23-002285 Unconscious ALS 09:54:38 04/05/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island was requested to go to an aid call. The investigation showed that the person was intoxicated and was violating a court order by consuming alcohol. This matter was referred to the court.

23-002286 Parking Problem 10:08:13 04/05/23
Deputies received complaints of an abandoned vehicle on a county roadway on Orcas Island. The vehicle was not impeding traffic at the time. The person associated with the vehicle failed to move it in the time frame he stated he would. A warning sticker was applied for the tow process.

23-002289 Fraud 11:43:30 04/05/23
A Lopez Deputy responded to a fraud report. An address in Missouri was found to be using a Lopez residents’ information on their internet bill. The investigation is ongoing.

23-002290 Citizen Assist 12:11:46 04/05/23
A San Juan Deputy responded to a citizen assist call. No criminal activity was reported, and the reporting party was referred to appropriate agencies for assistance.

23-002291 Threats 12:44:39 04/05/23
A Deputy responded to a reported threats complaint between two adults. After discussions with both sides, they were able to handle their differences and shake hands. A report documenting the incident was completed.

A trespassing complaint turned into a civil agreement. No criminal violation.

23-002298 Fraud 13:40:27 04/05/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a credit card fraud that occurred in another country. There are no suspects.

23-002299 Found Property 13:49:40 04/05/23
A Deputy took a report of found property. A ring was found in Eastsound and turned in to a local business. The ring was collected and secured as lost property.

23-002303 Fraud 16:59:50 04/05/23
Deputy took a report of an identity theft that lead to a victim being subject to collections. Person(s) unknown obtained the victims personal information and had utilized it to make a fictitious Verizon account. The case is being investigated.

THURSDAY, APRIL 6
23-002312 Agency Assistance 08:13:13 04/06/23
A Deputy received a referral from another agency. The Deputy contacted the people involved. The complaint was unfounded and any crimes occurred in another jurisdiction. Report taken.

23-002313 Theft 08:19:53 04/06/23
A Deputy was dispatched to a Theft in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy contacted the caller and confirmed a crime had been committed. The person involved had left the area. Probable Cause was prepared for the person for the crimes of Theft 3rd and Burglary 2nd.

FRIDAY, APRIL 7
23-002337 Domestic Dispute or Assault 09:26:09 04/07/23
Lopez Deputies responded to a domestic violence incident. During this investigation, a male was arrested for assault fourth degree and was booked into jail.

23-002339 Welfare Check 10:19:02 04/07/23
An Orcas Island Deputy responded with Orcas Island Fire & Rescue to a welfare check. The individual was flown to the mainland for medical treatment.

23-002342 Fraud 12:39:56 04/07/23
A Deputy took a report of a fraud. A known individual used the victim’s bank cards to make several unauthorized purchases. The case is under further investigation.

23-002348 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:18:45 04/07/23
Deputies responded to an Eastsound address on a reported domestic disturbance. After further investigation, it was determined probable cause was established for Malicious Mischief in the 3rd degree. The male party was arrested and booked into San Juan County Jail.

23-002354 Welfare Check 20:04:45 04/07/23
A Deputy was dispatched to a report of a possibly suicidal subject. The subject was transported by EMS to the hospital.

23-002355 Theft 20:48:51 04/07/23
A Deputy on San Juan Island was dispatched to a walk-in complaint of theft for an employee of a business. The investigation is ongoing.

SATURDAY, APRIL 8
23-002366 Theft 12:19:43 04/08/23
A Deputy on Orcas Island was assigned a vandalism case. The investigation is ongoing.

23-002380 Weapon Safekeeping 16:36:24 04/08/23
Deputies served a protection order from the court with an order to surrender firearms. The respondent was cooperative and relinquished his firearms.

23-002390 Accident-NonInj 21:54:10 04/08/23
A Lopez Deputy responded to a single vehicle collision. The driver was arrested for DUI and booked into jail.

SUNDAY, APRIL 9
23-002397 Sex Offense 14:09:03 04/09/23
A San Juan Deputy learned that an individual who was arrested and released in Friday Harbor had not registered as a sex offender. The individual was located, arrested for failure to register as a sex offender and was booked into jail.

23-002403 Fraud 16:18:03 04/09/23
A Lopez Island Deputy responded to a fraud call. The victim lost over 1,000.00 in fraudulent bank charges. The investigation is ongoing.

23-002409 Threats 20:36:11 04/09/23
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a threats call in Eastsound. The reporting party could not give a description of the suspect. They will contact a Deputy if they see the suspect again. A report was taken.

MONDAY, APRIL 10
23-002423 Weapon Safekeeping 12:54:49 04/10/23
A box of shotgun shells was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office for disposal.

TUESDAY, APRIL 11
23-002439 Accident-NonInj 07:16:29 04/11/23
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a collision. The vehicle was unoccupied and only slightly damaged. The owner was contacted and stated he would have it towed.

23-002450 Child Abuse or Neglect 19:10:21 04/11/23
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a callback. The reporting party wanted to let the Sheriff’s Office know about something they had heard about third hand. An informational report was taken until further information can be obtained.

23-002456 Welfare Check 22:53:52 04/11/23
Deputies on San Juan responded to a welfare check after someone was heard yelling. After further investigation, it was learned that a domestic incident had occurred. An individual was taken into custody and booked into jail for Harassment, Weapons Apparently Capable, and Malicious Mischief.
