A Friday Harbor Deputy responded to a report of an animal problem on San Juan Island. The Deputy spoke with the witnesses, obtained statements, and issued a Dog at Large infraction to the dog’s owner.

An Orcas Deputy responded to a local business regarding a suspected shoplifter that they wanted trespassed from their store. Attempts are being made to locate the suspect.

A citizen came into the Sheriff’s Office to seek some assistance. An informational report was taken.

Civil issue, road agreement on file with county per RP, who just wanted to make it up Austin Ln without any issues.

A Lopez Deputy investigated a theft of deer fencing. A report was completed.

Department of Social Health services reported a child under their care was a runaway.

A Deputy on Orcas responded to a report of a theft. A report was taken.

18-002255 Burglary – Residential 11:19:39 
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a possible attempted burglary. A report was taken.

18-002263 Malicious Mischief 17:11:00 
A Deputy responded to a Lopez Island residence for a vandalism complaint. The reporting person stated an unidentified person shattered one of her home windows with a rock. The matter is under investigation.

18-002270 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 19:02:21 
An Orcas Deputy issued a notice of infraction for abandoning a vehicle at a local towing establishment.

18-002293 Abandoned Vehicle 16:10:03
A Deputy on Orcas had an abandoned vehicle impounded after it was posted for 24 hour removal.

18-002297 Alarm 18:39:06 
A Lopez Island Deputy investigated a residential burglar alarm and found a door standing ajar and the home unsecure. Nothing appeared amiss inside. The wind is believed to have blown the door open, setting off the alarm.

18-002298 Boating Problem 20:42:43 
A Lopez Island Deputy issued an infraction for an unlawfully moored vessel on the county dock at Mackaye Harbor.

18-002300 Threats 22:11:12 
Lopez Island Deputies responded to a report of death threats made towards a local family. A Lopez Island man was arrested on a Harassment charge as well as two outstanding San Juan District Court warrants. The man was lodged in jail in Friday Harbor pending a court appearance.

A Deputy responded to a walk in report of a Welfare Check in Friday Harbor. The Deputy spoke with the parties involved and completed an informational report.

18-002337 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 17:35:22 
A Lopez Island Deputy was called to a local business regarding suspicious activity occurring in the parking lot. The involved vehicle and subjects had left the area before the Deputy arrived.

18-002338 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 18:04:29 
A Deputy made contact with RP regarding a littering complaint he had about a boat abandoned on his property located at the end of Old Cemetery Road.

18-002345 Welfare Check 08:42:12 
A Deputy responded to a Welfare Check in Friday Harbor. The Deputy made contact with the involved party who was transported to the hospital for a medical evaluation. An information report was made and forwarded to CPS.

18-002356 Wanted Person 16:52:29 
Deputies located a wanted person driving a vehicle. The subject was also found to have a suspended drivers license. The subject was arrested. Drug paraphernalia was located within the vehicle. A search warrant will be applied for in attempts to search the vehicle further.
