A Friday Harbor resident reported a package that may have been stolen from her mailbox sometime around the 16th of April.

San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a domestic incident. Investigation revealed the incident was verbal in nature only. A report was generated to document the incident.

A Deputy on Orcas Island received firearms surrendered pursuant to a court order.
25-002502 Citizen Dispute 18:46:56 05/01/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a citizen dispute involving a vehicle versus dog collision. Parties were separated and informed of the process to get a copy of the report.
25-002506 Mental Health 20:19:26 05/01/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a mental health issue. A person was found to be in crisis and transported to the hospital for evaluation.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a complaint of vandalism to a vehicle. No damage was found. The Deputy completed an informational report.
FRIDAY, MAY 2
25-002511 Citizen Dispute 00:01:24 05/02/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a fight. Upon arrival, the parties were gone but were located nearby. As Deputies attempted to detain an individual, they resisted and were arrested for resisting arrest and obstructing. Suspected methamphetamine was located in their backpack.
25-002516 Missing Person 13:12:37 05/02/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a missing person complaint. Information regarding the missing person was entered into the national database.
25-002521 Burglary – Residential 14:51:32 05/02/25
A Lopez Deputy was contacted regarding a residential burglary. The complaint was unfounded. Landlord/tenant rules and the proper eviction procedures were discussed.
25-002529 Trouble Unknown 21:05:25 05/02/25
San Juan Deputies responded to a report of a trouble unknown. Deputies arrived and observed that a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a building. The driver was arrested for DUI.

A Deputy was dispatched to an Alcohol Offense in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy arrived and observed a person consuming alcohol in public. The person was issued an infraction for Open container/ consuming alcohol in Public.
25-002562 Alcohol Offense 16:24:06 05/04/25
Deputies were dispatched to an Alcohol Offense in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputy arrived and contacted a person with an open can of alcohol. The person was issued an infraction for Open container/ Consuming Liquor in Public.
25-002564 Vicious Animal 17:03:09 05/04/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a man walking a goat on the beach. The incident was documented.
25-002568 Boating Problem 18:58:22 05/04/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a damage to a vessel in Friday Harbor. The offending vessel left the port without providing information. The offending vessel owner was identified and an exchange of information was facilitated. A report was completed.
25-002569 Vicious Animal 19:23:27 05/04/25
A Lopez Deputy responded when an off-leash dog entered onto a neighboring property and attacked another dog. The attacking dog owner was issued a criminal citation for public nuisance.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a hit-and-run property damage. An investigation commenced and is ongoing.
MONDAY, MAY 5
25-002574 Civil Problem 09:06:30 05/05/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a civil call. The incident was found to be only civil in nature. The Deputy provided resources to the parties involved.
25-002577 Trespassing 10:32:26 05/05/25
An Orcas Island Deputy issued a no trespass warning letter to a local resident.
25-002580 Unconscious ALS 11:16:01 05/05/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to a medical unconscious call. Deputies assisted EMS in loading the patient into the ambulance. The patient was flown off to the hospital.
25-002582 Vehicle Prowl 11:44:43 05/05/25
A Friday Harbor woman made a report that her vehicle was prowled, and money was taken from inside her car while parked at the Roche Harbor Marina. An investigation is being conducted.
25-002586 Found Property 12:45:22 05/05/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island received a report of a found property. A citizen brought in a phone that was found. The Deputy booked the phone into evidence as found property.
25-002599 Controlled Substance Problem 15:41:12 05/05/25
A Friday Harbor student was reported for being in possession of marijuana and vaping products. The items were confiscated from the student and he was released to his mother. The items were turned over to the Sheriff’s Office and booked into evidence. A report will be referred to Juvenile Court
25-002603 Agency Assistance 17:58:32 05/05/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a report of a juvenile in a mental health crisis. The juvenile was taken to the Emergency Room for further care. A report was completed.

A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. After investigating, the Deputy determined no crime had been committed. The complainant was provided with contact information for local resources.
25-002612 Malicious Mischief 09:42:35 05/06/25
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to the Orcas Island Middle School for a vandalism report. An investigation was conducted and found that two juveniles spray painted on the outside basketball court. The juveniles were referred to juvenile court services.

A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of found property. A cell phone was located at outlook park, and the owner was unable to be located. The phone was placed into evidence as found property.
