25-001801 Theft 07:08:40 04/02/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a farm stand money box being stolen. The incident is under investigation.

25-001802 Theft 08:30:52 04/02/25
A Lopez Deputy responded to a report of a farm stand money box being tampered with. This was the third report of a farm stand related crime within 24 hours. A group of juveniles is suspected to be involved and the matter is under investigation.

25-001804 Fraud 10:11:00 04/02/25
Orcas Island Deputies responded to an attempted fraud case. Deputies spoke with the reporting party and found no loss had occurred.

25-001807 Trespassing 10:51:05 04/02/25
A Friday Harbor man was trespassed from Kings Market and all Valmark properties. The individual was served the notice and told not to return to any of the properties for a period of two years.

25-001810 Trespassing 14:32:13 04/02/25
Friday Harbor youth was trespassed from Kings at the request of management. The youth was trespassed for the period of one year.

25-001813 Theft 15:04:09 04/02/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of mail theft. An individual reported that a package never arrived. A report was completed.

25-001814 Fraud 15:21:24 04/02/25
An Orcas Island Deputy authored a report of bank fraud for a local citizen disputing a fraudulent bank account opened in her name. The citizen identified the fraud before receiving any negative impact to her credit. The incident was documented and an investigation is underway.

THURSDAY, APRIL 3
25-001830 Controlled Substance Problem 08:59:31 04/03/25
A Deputy was contacted a Drug Problem. The person calling is a landlord. They believe one of their tenants is using and selling drugs on the property. Deputy provided suggestion on how to resolve the issue. Report taken.

25-001836 Citizen Dispute 13:36:40 04/03/25
A Deputy on Orcas received a complaint of harassment involving a county road employee. A report was taken.

25-001840 Domestic Dispute or Assault 20:53:18 04/03/25
San Juan Island Deputies responded to investigate a domestic disturbance. Deputies found it to be only verbal in nature. No crime was reported during the investigation.

FRIDAY, APRIL 4
25-001843 Accident-NonInj 04:14:08 04/04/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a hit and run collision. Based on vehicle parts left on scene, the Deputy identified the vehicle make, model, and year. The driver was later contacted and issued a citation for hit and run unattended property and multiple infractions.

25-001845 Domestic Dispute or Assault 07:08:38 04/04/25
Deputies were dispatched to a Domestic in the Friday Harbor area. The Deputies arrived and contacted the people involved. After speaking with the people involved, the incident was found to be a verbal argument. The people separated and a report was taken.

25-001846 Accident-Injury, Traffic 08:15:10 04/04/25
An Orcas Island Deputy and Orcas Island Fire and Rescue responded to an injury vehicle collision on Orcas Rd. The collision was investigated by the Deputy and the driver was subsequently arrested for DUI.

25-001847 Sex Offense 08:44:43 04/04/25
A hospital in the region called and reported having an anonymous SANE kit for pickup. A detective with the Sheriff’s Office responded and took possession of the kit.

25-001849 Malicious Mischief 10:00:10 04/04/25
Graffiti tags were located on the Lopez Community Center property. Juvenile males are involved. Photos were obtained and saved for evidence.

25-001850 Property Damage, Non Vandalism 13:10:27 04/04/25
Damage to the village restroom was reported on Lopez Island. The likely suspect is known to Deputies.

25-001851 Traffic Hazard 13:44:42 04/04/25
A Lopez resident reported a traffic hazard involving a trailer. The owner was located and dealt with the issue.

SATURDAY, APRIL 5
25-001862 Civil Problem 09:54:50 04/05/25
A Friday Harbor woman was trespassed from The Little Store. She was given a trespass notice and told if she returned, she could be arrested.

25-001865 Theft 11:14:06 04/05/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island received a theft complaint. An investigation commenced and is ongoing.

25-001875 Parking Problem 16:21:44 04/05/25
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a parking problem. A vehicle was located and partially blocking the roadway. The vehicle was impounded.

25-001883 Wanted Person 18:23:49 04/05/25
Orcas Island Deputies apprehended a wanted fugitive in Eastsound. The fugitive led the Deputies on a foot chase throughout the Eastsound area. The Deputies finally located the wanted fugitive with help from the public. The wanted fugitive was subsequently arrested and booked into jail.

SUNDAY, APRIL 6
25-001894 Court Order Violation 14:10:28 04/06/25
A report of a protection order violation was made to the Orcas Substation. An investigation is being conducted and Deputies are currently waiting on video footage.

25-001896 Citizen Assist 14:32:54 04/06/25
A Deputy on Orcas Island received a complaint regarding crimes committed and/or occurring in another county. The Deputy authored a report. The report was forwarded to the appropriate agencies.

25-001905 Welfare Check 20:05:36 04/06/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded a to welfare check on a juvenile, after people saw concerning posts on social media. The juvenile was found to be okay and was left in the care of an older sibling until their parent got home. A report was completed.

MONDAY, APRIL 7
25-001911 Harassment 12:18:15 04/07/25
An Orcas Island Deputy took an incident report about a civil landlord / tenant matter. No crime.

25-001918 Citizen Dispute 16:54:16 04/07/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a citizen dispute regarding children in common and visitation. A report was completed.

25-001923 Welfare Check 20:07:20 04/07/25
A Deputy on San Juan responded to a welfare check in Friday Harbor. A woman was on the ground screaming for help. It was determined that she was likely under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and was experiencing a mental health crisis. She was transported to PIMC by EMS for further care.

TUESDAY, APRIL 8
25-001936 Animal at Large 14:26:48 04/08/25
Upon arrival, I immediately recognized the husky/pit bulldog mix. I am very familiar with the owner and her dog. In the past three years, this office has responded to 179 calls for service involving the owner. Several of those calls involve dog-at-large complaints.

25-001937 Found Property 14:43:30 04/08/25
A Deputy responded to a report of found property. The known owner was unable to be located and the property was submitted into evidence as found property. A report was completed.

25-001947 Accident-NonInj 21:11:45 04/08/25
Deputies on San Juan Island responded to a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve in the road. The vehicle crossed over a secondary street and came to rest in a ditch. The driver was arrested and booked into jail for DUI.

25-001950 Injury 23:17:59 04/08/25
A Deputy on San Juan Island transported an in-custody individual to the hospital for evaluation; they had been involved in a motor vehicle accident earlier in night and were arrested for DUI. The hospital evaluated the male and he was cleared to return to the jail. A report was completed.
