15-001802 Accident-NonInj 07:57:27 04/15/15: On April 15, 2015, a Deputy was called to investigate a reported two-vehicle, non injury crash involving a City of Friday Harbor trash truck. The Deputy investigated, took photos and wrote a report.
15-001804 Theft 09:40:48 04/15/15: A woman in Eastsound reported her son’s bicycle was stolen from their residence sometime last night. No known suspects or leads at this time.
15-001808 Theft 14:54:26 04/15/15: A deputy received a report of a theft of a license plate that occurred in the 600 block of Warbass Way. Currently there are no suspects.
15-001811 Death Investigation 17:09:09 04/15/15: A deputy received a report of a death investigation in the 500 block of Harrison St. The death appeared to be of natural causes.
15-001814 Citizen Dispute 19:37:03 04/15/15: A Lopez Island man reported that he was having difficulty with a neighbor trespassing on his property. The neighbor was contacted and warned.
15-001815 Noise Complaint /not dogs 20:11:10 04/15/15: A Lopez Island man reported loud music from his neighbors house. The investigating deputy found the music at an acceptable level.–

15-001824 Communications Problem 13:28:52 04/16/15: A Deputy contacted a Lopez Island resident on 04/16/15 regarding a telephone harassment complaint. The offending neighbor stated that he was attempting to call the reporting person so he could apologize for a past dispute. He agreed to not call his neighbor in the future. No further action currently needed.
15-001825 Found Property 13:53:26 04/16/15: A citizen found a bicycle left near a storage shed in Eastsound. The bicycle’s owner is unknown at this time and has not been reported stolen as of this date.
15-001830 Welfare Check 17:43:53 04/16/15: A Deputy conducted a welfare check at a MacKaye Harbor residence on Lopez Island on after a concerned neighbor called to report receiving an alarming telephone call from them. I made contact and determined that there was no need for either police or medical assistance.
15-001832 Litter/Pollution/Public Health 18:16:13 04/16/15: A deputy was dispatched to the 100 block of Golf Estates Rd. Eastsound in regards to illegal dumping. Three pieces of mail were found that belonged to the former tenant proving ownership of the trash. I spoke to both the property owner and suspect.
15-001835 Domestic Dispute or Assault 18:36:04 04/16/15: A Deputy received a report of a domestic that had occurred in the 300 block of Wood Duck Ln. The investigation showed that the couple had a verbal argument. This report is for information only.

15-001843 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:17:54 04/17/15: Sheriff Deputies responded to a reported domestic dispute in Eastsound. Further investigation revealed the domestic dispute was verbal only and no crimes had been committed.
15-001850 Accident-NonInj 15:29:49 04/17/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a reported truck vs tractor collision. No injuries reported and vehicles were moved offsite by the deputy’s arrival.
15-001851 Accident-Injury, Traffic 17:02:29 04/17/15: Deputies responded to the report of an accident, car versus pedestrian, in the 8300 block of Orcas Road. The Victim was removed by OIFR then flown off for emergency treatment. Report taken.
15-001852 Accident-NonInj 17:13:33 04/17/15: A Deputy received a report of a traffic collision at A St. and 1st St. The driver of a vehicle backed into a parked car leaving non reportable damage to the parked vehicle. The driver left a note with his information on the vehicle. The owner of the other vehicle was not located and was not local.
15-001853 Wanted Person 17:34:27 04/17/15: Deputies were alerted to a person with San Juan County felony warrant shopping at King’s market. Deputies responded and found the subject in the rear parking lot and took her into custody without incident.
15-001858 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 21:23:46 04/17/15: A SJCSO Deputy received a report of a strobe light that was off of Mineral Point towards Orcas Island. The Deputy observed the strobe that appeared to be coming from Orcas and looked to be up off of the water. A Deputy on Orcas checked the area and nothing was discovered. The Strobe then went off and did not come back on.

15-001860 Malicious Mischief 00:40:47 04/18/15: Responded to the area of the Cattle Point Road revision project to investigate unknown person/s damaging the survey stakes.
15-001865 Noise Complaint /not dogs 19:53:48 04/18/15: A Lopez Island resident reported loud music coming from a boat at anchor in Fisherman Bay. The vessel operator was contacted upon returning to the dock and warned about playing music so loud.
15-001866 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 19:58:16 04/18/15: A Lopez Island resident reported acrid smoke coming from a burn pile near Lopez Village. The person doing the burning was contacted. Branches and firewood were being burned.

15-001879 Alcohol Offense 17:54:27 04/19/15: The reporting deputy was dispatched to Sunshine Alley in reference to an Alcohol Violation. The reporting deputy arrived and contacted the suspect. The suspect had been caught with an open container of alcohol in the restrooms the night before. The suspect again had alcohol in the restrooms.
15-001880 Citizen Dispute 17:59:57 04/19/15: Deputies were dispatched to Sunday Dr. on a neighbor dispute and possible assault. We arrived and spoke to the reported victim and suspect and multiple witnesses. Based on witness statements the possible victim had come on to the suspect’s property and was yelling.
15-001881 Found Property 18:17:25 04/19/15: A deputy was handed two plastic garbage bags of clothing after it was discovered that some stolen items had been found inside them previously. The property is currently being held as safekeeping until it is determined if the property has been reported stolen.

15-001890 Wanted Person 14:14:11 04/20/15: A deputy on San Juan Island located a man known to have a felony warrant. The man was taken into custody.
15-001891 Theft 16:38:00 04/20/15: The reporting deputy took a report of Theft. The r/p advised that an outbuilding on their property had been entered. Several little items and some food had been removed from the building and surrounding area. No suspect information at this time.

15-001904 Citizen Assist 00:53:29 04/21/15: Deputy made contact with three juvenile males on North Beach Road, Eastsound. Further investigation revealed that five underage persons had been consuming alcohol and marijuana. The report has been submitted to the prosecutors for charging decisions.
15-001922 Juvenile Problem 19:19:26 04/21/15: Deputies responded to a report of an out of control juvenile male throwing belongings around inside his residence. The juvenile male was located and interviewed. The incident was settled by contact and the juvenile male remained at the residence.

15-001936 Domestic Dispute or Assault 11:42:33 04/22/15: A Lopez Island woman reported a domestic disturbance at her home between herself and her estranged husband. As a result of the investigation, her husband was arrested on a number of domestic violence related charges and lodged in the jail at Friday Harbor.
15-001941 Found Property 16:03:52 04/22/15: An Eastsound business reported
finding a credit card that they held for approximately four days, hoping the
owner would return and collect. The owner did not return and they turned it over
to our office.
15-001942 Accident-HitRun 17:01:03 04/22/15: Witnesses in Eastsound observed a woman back into a parked motorcycle and drive away after witnesses confronted her. The woman was later contacted and it was determined that she did not realize that she had struck the motorcycle.
15-001946 Traffic Stop 20:29:25 04/22/15: A driver was cited for DWLSR 3rd Degree and the vehicle she was driving was impounded per state law.

15-001951 Welfare Check 01:58:22 04/23/15: A deputy was dispatched to an unknown address off Mount Baker in regards to a suicidal subject who requested help. A mental health worker and the subject formed a safety plan for the evening with immediate follow up the next day.
15-001952 Agency Assistance 07:42:45 04/23/15: A deputy made contact with the home owner on Orion Ln East Sound, WA. Upon contact I noticed the filthy and unhealthy conditions in which the children were living. These conditions are putting the children’s safety at risk. CPS was notified.
15-001959 Burglary – Residential 14:53:04 04/23/15: Lopez deputies were dispatched to a reported burglary in progress. The property owner observed a subject attempt entry to the building via his camera. Deputies searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
15-001962 Death Investigation 15:16:07 04/23/15: A SJCSO Deputy received a report of a death investigation in the 2200 block of Wold Rd. The death appeared to be of natural causes. This case is still under investigation.

15-001974 Theft 14:18:45 04/24/15: A Lopez deputy was dispatched to a possible theft.The suspect of a recent domestic called to report his estranged wife has possession of a firearm he was required to relinquish, and believes she entered his residence and took a cell phone.
15-001975 Fraud 14:32:23 04/24/15: Deputy received a report of a suspicious circumstance. The reporting party stated that he received a letter from someone claiming to be the IRS trying to obtain personal information.
15-001977 Civil Problem 16:12:37 04/24/15: Deputy received a report of a landlord who had violated a tenants rights. The reporting party stated the landlord did not provide proper notice before ordering the tenant to leave. The case has been forwarded to the civil division for further investigation.
15-001980 Welfare Check 19:10:52 04/24/15: Reporting party says he is in contact a couple times a week and has not heard from subject in over two weeks and is concerned. A deputy made contact and subject is OK and requested dispatch call reporting part back.
15-001981 Domestic Dispute or Assault 20:30:19 04/24/15: Deputies responded to the 500 blk of Tucker Ave in reference to a possible Domestic. The deputies arrived and contacted the involved parties. The involved parties were arguing and yelling because their dog had escaped. The argument was verbal only and was finished when deputies arrived.

15-001995 Malicious Mischief 21:07:36 04/25/15: Deputy received a report of a malicious mischief and a disorderly conduct that occurred on Roche Harbor Rd. at University. The suspect stood in the middle of the road and hit the passenger side mirror as the vehicle drove by. This case is still under investigation.

15-002012 Information Report 15:41:38 04/26/15: A Lopez Island woman reported concerns about the well being of a man on the island.

15-002019 Accident-HitRun 10:36:13 04/27/15: A vehicle had minor damage done in a hit and run in Eastsound.
15-002020 Burglary – Residential 10:41:11 04/27/15: In early March a burglary occurred in Eastsound. Entry was made, but nothing was taken.

15-002036 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 01:55:54 04/28/15: While on routine foot patrol in Friday Harbor, WA.I made contact with a subject who was passed out in the roundabout at the bottom of Spring St. The subject gave a false name, but was later identified.
15-002046 Fraud 10:59:24 04/28/15: Deputy met with a Lopez Island resident regarding a potential identity theft complaint. The reporting person stated that she recently discovered an overdue loan on her credit report that did not belong to her. This report is for information only.
15-002051 Domestic Dispute or Assault 15:35:09 04/28/15: A Lopez Island woman reported that her estranged husband had entered her residence in violation of a Domestic Violence No Contact Protection Order. The 35 year old suspect was located nearby and arrested on a variety of domestic violence related charges and lodged in jail.
15-002060 Theft 21:24:17 04/28/15: A woman reported someone had entered her home and took some documents. No known suspects or leads at this time.

15-002071 Welfare Check 16:34:04 04/29/15: A deputy received a report of a welfare check on a juvenile. It was determined that he was making comments about hurting himself so he was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
15-002074 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 20:46:41 04/29/15: A Lopez Island man reported that a loaded rifle was found near the Lopez Island School campus.
Is it possible to identify the island in each of these cases? Just the name and then the incident. It is ID’d in some, but not all.
