A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a housing rental scam. The victim provided personal information but did not have a monetary loss. There is no workable suspect information currently. A report was completed.

22-002238 Theft 09:39:28 04/13/22
An Orcas Island Deputy authored a report of a package theft in the 170 block of Cormorant Bay Rd.

22-002243 Aircraft Problem 11:33:20 04/13/22
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to an airplane crash on the 200 block of Lovers Lane. A report was authored.

22-002252 Vehicle Prowl 15:19:46 04/13/22
A San Juan Deputy took a report of a possible vehicle prowl. The reporting party later located the missing item.

22-002256 Accident-NonInj 16:39:20 04/13/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a two car collision. There were no injuries but two vehicles were damaged. One driver was issued an infraction for improper lane usage.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a weapons offense call. A report was taken.

22-002263 Trespassing 05:42:50 04/14/22
A Lopez Deputy responded to a call involving an individual wandering onto a campsite seeking a shower. The campsite did not have a vacant shower, and the lost individual was directed to try the public showers in the village or the Islander.

22-002265 Disorderly Conduct 09:15:14 04/14/22
An Orcas Island Deputy investigated a report of Harassment, Indecent Exposure, interfering with a Service Animal and Obstructing a Law Enforcement Officer which occurred in the Eastsound area. The suspect was located and arrested without incident.

A Deputy on Orcas took a report of an Order violation that happened a week prior to the reporting. A report was written.

22-002270 Trespassing 12:25:34 04/14/22
A man was arrested by Orcas Deputies for illegally camping on private property on Shaw Island. He was also in possession of stolen property which was seized.

22-002277 Burglary,NonRes 16:32:23 04/14/22
A Deputy on Orcas responded to a burglary in Eastsound. A report was taken and the investigation is ongoing.

22-002278 Domestic Dispute or Assault 17:13:51 04/14/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a domestic dispute. No crime had occurred. The other party in the dispute left the residence on their own, which resolved the issue.

22-002279 Fraud 17:58:00 04/14/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a fraud complaint. The complainant stated he had received over 20 phone calls from someone posing as a cell phone service provider. He recognized the calls as fraudulent and hung up immediately. The complainant did not suffer any loss.

A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of a juvenile who was unconscious due to alcohol consumption. The juvenile was transported to the hospital for treatment and their guardian was notified.

FRIDAY, APRIL 15
22-002284 Accident-NonInj 04:13:34 04/15/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a non-injury accident in the 100 block of Orcas Road. The vehicle was safely off the roadway. The driver arranged to have the vehicle towed. The Deputy provided the driver a courtesy
ride home.

22-002290 Theft 12:24:16 04/15/22
A Deputy responded to a delayed report of a theft that occurred on 4/11/22. The complainant reported that Fedex delivered a package to their front porch when they were gone & when they returned home the package was not there.
There is no video surveillance and no suspects or workable leads at this time.

A visitor turned in a found credit card. The owner was located and the card was returned.

22-002304 Weapons Noise 21:12:19 04/15/22
A Lopez Deputy was called out for a weapons noise complaint. Upon arrival the Deputy heard no further weapon noises and was unable to locate the source of the noise.

22-002307 Citizen Dispute 22:42:37 04/15/22
A Deputy on Orcas Island responded to a citizen dispute. No crime had been committed. The involved parties were separated for the night.

SATURDAY, APRIL 16
22-002312 Found Property 10:27:48 04/16/22
An Orcas citizen turned in a small wallet she had found on a pathway in Eastsound. I was unable to locate the owner who lives on the mainland. The item was booked into the property room at the Orcas Substation.

22-002315 Trouble Unknown 13:52:11 04/16/22
A Lopez resident reported a vehicle in a ditch from an overnight incident.

22-002323 Malicious Mischief 17:23:37 04/16/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of vandalism. Someone erected a free library in their yard and an unidentified neighbor vandalized the stand and left two notes directing the owner to remove the stand.

22-002341 Suspicious Person/Circumstance 10:30:08 04/17/22
An Orcas Island Deputy responded to a found cash box on the 500 block of Marilee Ln. The cash box located was determined to be the same one stolen during a burglary of Rosario Resort & Spa. The investigation is on-going.

22-002349 Boating Problem 13:58:30 04/17/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island responded to a mooring problem at the county dock in Roche Harbor. The Deputy issued five parking violation infractions to the vessels for not having their parking permit sticker.

An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched to a non-injury Motor vehicle accident call. A report was taken.

22-002351 Animal Bite 16:34:11 04/17/22
An Orcas Island Deputy was dispatched with Orcas Island Fire & Rescue to an animal bite call. A report was taken.

22-002356 Trespassing 18:26:44 04/17/22
Deputies on Orcas Island responded to a report of a person illegally occupying a residence. The person was gone on arrival. Some abandoned property was documented and collected.

22-002357 Welfare Check 19:30:46 04/17/22
A Lopez Deputy responded to a welfare check call when an individual did not return home for dinner with their spouse. The Deputy located the individual, who was napping in their car after a long afternoon of gardening in the sun.

MONDAY, APRIL 18
22-002367 Citizen Assist 13:43:59 04/18/22
A Deputy on San Juan Island took a report of a lost Sony camera. The camera had been lost near Lime Kiln State Park. The Deputy entered the camera information as lost property

22-002370 Animal at Large 14:56:01 04/18/22
An off leash chihuahua bolted across the road in front of a Lopez Deputy. The owner was located, and the dog was returned. The owner was given a warning for allowing their dog to run at large.

TUESDAY, APRIL 19
22-002384 Welfare Check 11:22:43 04/19/22
Deputies on San Juan Island conducted a welfare check on children at the request of their mother, after their other parent had not returned them home on the agreed date. Contact was made with the children, and they appeared to be okay. A report was completed.

22-002394 Harassment 17:20:14 04/19/22
A San Juan Deputy responded to a report of harassment in Friday Harbor. No crime was committed but the incident was documented.
