“The Winter’s Tale” outdoors at dusk
Island Stage Left presents “The Winter’s Tale” – one of Shakespeare’s later romances, and a play that celebrates the triumph of love, nobility and all things good, ending with the promise of rejuvenation, redemption, and hope – a magical story of jealousy, love and reconciliation. Part family drama, part fairytale, ….the perfect play for a summer’s evening.”
This annual “Shakespeare Under the Stars” event, will appear once on Orcas Island — at Doe Bay Resort’s outdoor stage on July 7th at 8 p.m.
Doe Bay management says” We are thrilled to host this theater troupe in their annual visit to Orcas. Arrive early and get pizza, wine, and cheese plates – available To-Go at the Doe Bay Café to take up to the performance and munch while you watch! Please come join us for one of our favorite summer highlights!”
Admission is free (donations appreciated). Dress warmly and bring a folding chair or blanket to sit on.
