ORIGINAL NOTICE MAY 28: Customers with reservations for oversized vehicles on several early morning sailings are asked to adjust their travel plans, if possible. Because a number of vessels require unexpected maintenance, WSF has had to rearrange vessel assignments and there will be smaller boats than initially anticipated on the route starting Saturday, June 5. The loss in capacity has caused some sailings to become overbooked, specifically “tall spaces.”

If you have reserved oversized vehicle space on the following sailings, please consider rebooking your reservation on an available sailing if possible or cancel the reservation if it’s no longer necessary:

  • 4:10 a.m. departing Anacortes (Monday, June 7 through Thursday, June 10)
  • 7:25 a.m. departing Anacortes (Thursday, June 10)
  • 7:50 a.m. departing Friday Harbor (Monday, June 5 and Wednesday and Thursday, June 9-10)
  • 12:05 p.m. departing Orcas (Monday, June 7 through Thursday, June 10)

Customers are asked to make changes by Wednesday, June 2. If you secure a new reservation, please be sure to cancel your previous one.

Unfortunately, if not enough customers make voluntary adjustments or cancellations by June 2, WSF will be reaching out to customers individually to cancel or rebook their sailings to give affected customers as much notice as possible. If you have questions or need help rebooking or cancelling your reservation, you can call 206-464-6400 to speak with an agent in our Customer Service Center.

We apologize for this change to your travel arrangements and thank you for your consideration in helping us navigate this service disruption.
